After Elsa's nightmare, and once the queen had woken up, both parents agreed in trying to remain as subtle and hidden as possible-- until today.

No sign of Pitch has been seen or heard ever since the incident. Jack still talks to the other guardians and the Haddocks to keep in touch with information.

Elsa, after trying her best to remain hidden for years, has grown stronger than ever before. Controlling her power has become a struggle for her in which making hiding her power even harder, this results in her remaining in the castle, rarely leaving.

Anna tries her best to support her sister, however gets shut out by Elsa in fear that she will get hurt.

"Queen Rapunzel!" a hectic maid called to the Queen.

"Yes?"

"Er, should we go with taupe or beige curtains for the Princesses birthday?"

"Oooh!" Rapunzel said looking back and forth at the colors, "do we have any brighter colors?"

"Ah, yes! I will go look!" the maid said as she bowed and ran off.

Rapunzel smiled as she looked around at the decorated ballroom, she couldn't believe Elsa was turning eighteen today!

"Your highness," a voice called as Jack was making his way to the back door of the castle. He was planning to ask North if Pitch had made any appearances.

Jack turned around, "Yes? Ah! Captain Jaime, what can I do for ya?"

Captain Jaime was a young but fine man, clever and the king trusted him greatly.

"What time shall we finally open the gates for the party?"

Jack smiled, "Anytime after noon but before the sun sets shall be fine, I'll leave it to your judgement, Jaime."

Jaime saluted and walked off.

Well it's about time we open these gates. Jack thought and smiled as he walked out the door.

Jack glanced around to see if anybody were in sight and flew to the Royal HQ (where part of the Royal infirmary can be located)

When Jack arrived he walked into what they called "the globe room" where they could see if any evil had been beginning to spread. In the globe room, he was met by North.

"Come for another checkup, hm?"

"Yeah, I just- tonight just has to go the way it's supposed to; otherwise Elsa will never forgive herself."

North nodded and the rest of the guardians made their way into the room.

"Oh, Jack!" Tooth said with a smile, "Please tell Elsa we all said happy birthday!"

"Hm, it seems like just yesterday it was her first birthday, and she pulled at my whiskers!" Bunny said.

Jack laughed, "Of course I'll tell her, if she even remembers you guys. I think it's been almost nine years since she last saw you."

They all sighed.

"Poor child." North said.

Jack shook his head,

"Anyway..." he looked at North, "anything?"

"Well," North began, "children a ways across the sea in a different kingdom seem to be having a few nightmares..."

"What? All of a sudden?" Jack asked nervously. "So... he IS back."

North scratched the back of his head,
"Ah well... kind of. But, perhaps he's given up on us for now... I'm sure that for tonight everything will be under control."
