Jack paced back and forth outside of the delivery room, paranoid, lost in thought, worried with mixed emotions.
"It'll be alright, Jack" Hiccup his best friend assured him, however he didn't listen and continued to pace outside the door.
He could hear his wife struggle and cry in pain trying to birth the baby, were deliveries supposed to last this long?!
He slumped down outside the door and held his head in his hands.
"Be strong Punz, I know you can do it." He whispered to himself.
After what seemed like forever, there was silence, then such sound of a child crying.
A surprised emotion deemed over Jack as he practically flew to open the door... or try to.
"What the...." The door was practically locked! He slammed himself against the door; something wasn't right.
"Rapunzel!!" Jack cried from outside the door.
Hiccup could do nothing but watch... he hoped he wasn't this nervous when Merida had bore their son.
It took a lot of strength but finally Jack opened the door.
He gasped as he looked around the room, ice everywhere.
Merida and some maids were barreling blankets on the crying infant to keep her warm.
"Jack look what you've done! you stupid snowman you got too nervous you froze the whole delivery room!" Merida cursed, shivering.
Jack shook his head and was about to say something until Rapunzel cut him off.
"No..." She breathed heavily, "the ice... the ice was from.... our daughter."
"Rapunzel....." Jack went to her and held her hands; they were ice cold, he could tell she was getting sick, she was already so pale.
"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, you did great.." Jack praised as he reached for a blanket.
"do you want to hold our daughter? she's beautiful, just like her mother."
She weakly smiled and nodded as Merida handed the now sleeping infant to Jack.
The ice was beginning to melt for the child was now calm and resting.
Jack carefully handed their daughter to Rapunzel. Tears swelled in her eyes as she held her newborn baby girl.
"....Elsa, Princess Elsa Frost of Corona." Rapunzel looked at her daughter then to her husband the king.
The only thing Jack could do was smile.
"What a beautiful name, my daughter, Elsa." Jack said as he gazed at his and his wife's creation of life.
