Chapter Thirteen- Just In Time

Anna sat outside the cave with Toothless, trying to help his wounds.

Toothless groaned in pain, he wasn't use to having such pain for so long. He was so use to Rapunzel being there to immediately heal him.

"I know, I know it's going to be okay Toothless I promise." Anna cooed and stroked Toothless' head as it lay in her lap.

Anna, a distant voice lightly echoed.

"What?? Who's there..." Anna stood up.

Anna, it's me, remember?

"Manny...?"

Yes child, now I gave you power for a reason! Don't you know medicines that heal things can come from plants?

"...Yeah what about it?"

.......

"Manny?"

Anna what are you the guardian of?

"Um, Earth, right?"

Yes, and where do medicines come from?

"Errr... plants?"

And plants are buried within Earth, are they not?

"They are."

So, Anna what I'm trying to say is you could heal Toothless yourself.

"But... I don't know how!" Anna looked down at her feet, then at Toothless.

Just have confidence. It's what a guardian needs most. One must fully believe in them self before anyone would be able to believe in them.

"Okay! I'll do it!" Anna said, "I just don't know where to start..."

She turned around to look at Toothless, still in pain.

She kneeled down to his height once again.

"Alright Toothless, big guy, bear with me..."

Anna touched her hands to the ground and closed her eyes to concentrate.

It took some time but soon enough, tiny sprouts appeared just above where her hands were.

Anna gasped in amazement and glanced at her own hands. She set them back down, determined to heal Toothless.

Not long after, the sprouts turned into vines and shot up around Toothless, while budding some extravagant flowers.

"It's not too tight, is it buddy?" Anna said as she touched the vine of her creation.

Toothless seemed a little uncomfortable, but that was probably because he wasn't used to this type of treatment.

The flowers completely opened up, and sprayed a certain type of pollen onto Toothless.

Toothless began to relax more now as his injuries were fading away.

"I... I did it!" Anna jumped up excitedly, "good boy Toothless!" she laughed along while petting him.

The wounds healed and the vines retracted, and Toothless was happier than ever.

As soon as the vines were totally gone off of his back he raced over to Anna and tackled her in a hug. Of course, Anna fell backwards.

"Oof! Okay Toothless I gotcha!" Anna laughed hugging Toothless back.
"Gosh Toothless, you're just like a big puppy!" Anna laughed as she pet his head.

The two returned to sitting outside while the others were fighting in the cave. You could hear North every once and a while laughing and clanging his sword, but other than that it was quiet.
