Jeff's fever was getting worse. He felt so sick, he thought he was going to die soon. Jeff didn't even know where this fever suddenly came from. He heard of the so called "Slender Sickness" but he doesn't believe that it was because of Slender. He just doesn't want it to be like this. Slenderman was a nice person, the first one who treated Jeff like a special and beautiful person. Noone has ever been so nice to him since the accident a few years ago...
The bush next to him started shaking. Even though his body is full of pain, Jeff tried to stand up and take his knife in order to defend himself. Something jumped out of the bush, a dark and big shadow but it was too dark to see who or what it was. Without knowing what's in front of him, Jeff started stabbing it with the knife.
"What the hell, Jeff?! Stop it, it hurts!!" the shadow started screaming and sat down on the cold ground.
"...Slendy? Why...?" Jeff asked, almost losing conscious. Before he fell down, he said down next to Slender, watching him and the bloody stomach witch heals pretty fast.
"Well... I changed my mind! Why, got a problem with that?" Slenders voice was shaking but not because of the blood and the wound. It was his heart, beating hopefully.
"No... It's a great... feeling... I'm glad..." Jeff whispered. He slowly crawled on Slenders legs, hugging the tall and faceless man. Jeff would've cried if he could. His body was in a miserable state but his heart was enjoying every single moment.
"Slender... I... I lo-"
A scream, not that far away from them. An inhumanly scream only a beast could release. Slender took Jeff, stood up and ran back to the treehouse. Slendy hoped that it wasn't Rake because if it was him... Jeff would be in danger.
"Slendy... What is this?" Jeff asked confused.
"It's Rake! He's going to eat you if we don't run now!" Slender answered totally out of breath.
The treehouse wasn't that far away anymore. Slenderman could already see it through the other trees when a figure appeared in front of the ladder.
It wasn't Rake.
It was even worse.
