This is a filler because Rebecca apparently doesn't seem to have the ability to write anymore. -Arlene
Waking up wasn't easy.
First, my twin brother, Beck, pushed me off the bed and onto the hard floor of Cabin Six.
Then, people took all of my shirts because they're buttheads, so naturally, I had to only put on jeans and sneakers.
Then of course Lea decided to make an appearance and couldn't stop staring at my shirtless torso and couldn't seem to talk right (I don't know why, she's seen me shirtless plenty of times before- NOT LIKE THAT!)
And now we're here.
"I can't believe they took your shirts," Lea smirked as we walked into Bunker Nine. I looked at the daughter of Hephaestus. "I'm sure you don't mind at all," I said, rolling my eyes. "You're my boyfriend, of course I don't," she smiled, wrapping her thin little arms around me. I hugged her back and started feeling kind of nervous, seeing her stare up at me. "S-Stop staring, it makes me nervous," I blurted. She cocked her head and asked how. "You're pretty," I muttered under my breath, loud enough so she could hear it. She snorted and sat down in her chair, a permanent depression in the cushion where she's spent two years sitting in it and working on her projects.
"What!" I said, walking over and sitting beside her in a wheelie chair. "Nothing."
I knew what it was. She didn't think she was pretty.
I'm not an idiot, I mean, i may a be a blonde male and don't get women, but I knew that they always felt very self-conscious. I have several sisters- I should know.
I wrapped an arm around her waist like i do every day I decide to sit with her while she worked and kissed her temple as she begin to draw on a blueprint-type paper. It was fun watching her focus on something so dearly, as if it's the only thing she has. Plus, she looked really cute while she did it. "So," she said, her adhd beginning to take control. "How was training yesterday?" she asked. "It was good, sorry i couldn't be here to watch you work but I have to keep up my strength." She smiled, setting her chalk down and throwing her short, curly black hair up into a tiny ponytail. "It's alright," she said. She continued to draw, and I watched with lots of curiosity for hours on end.
When it got to be around dinner time, I grabbed two plates of food and started to head back to Bunker Nine when Bianca stopped me. "Hey Asher," she said, her long black hair hanging in front of her face. "Have you seen Beck?" she asked, looking around for her boyfriend. "Yeah, he'll be here in a second," I smiled. She nodded and sat at the Hades table. I walked back to Bunker Nine and set Lea's plate down in front of her. She apparently didn't acknowledge it was there, and continued fiddling with her screwdriver. I gently took it out of her hands and pushed the plate towards her. "Eat, Lea," I sighed. She tended to forget to do the simplest things like eat and sleep. Tacos appeared on the plate and she started eating quietly.
After she ate she worked for a few more hours before I started to bug her again, so she could sleep. She glared at me, clearly annoyed, and I stared at her brown eyes, "It's time for sleep, princess," I said quietly, pushing a piece of her hair that caught free of the ponytail behind her ear. She sighed, setting her hammer down and I guided her tired body towards the room in the back of Bunker Nine. As she laid down, I turned to leave and she tugged on my shirt, "Stay this time," she said. I groaned and laid down next to her, keeping the door cracked open, as Harley, Lea's little sister, was still working, so technically, I was still allowed to be in here.
She wrapped her small arms around me and set her head on my chest and I couldn't help but smile. She didn't seem to be super loving when I first met her, but now I can pretty much tell she is. "Night," she said quietly, drifting off into a light sleep.
And so did I.
Rebecca is in a writing slump so I apologize for a not-real chapter, but i promise we'll figure something out soon <3
