You and Hau were walking to a clothing store. It was your birthday and Hau wanted to get you something.
"Hau you don't have to get me anything", you said nervously.
"But I want to. This is sorta like a... Birthday date", he joked. You giggled. Every since he picked you up this morning he keep calling it a date. It was hard to tell if he was serious cause once he said "ready for the date" all serious like then he said this is gonna be the best date every". He keep saying date when ever he could.
"(Y/n)! Hau!", you heard someone call. You turned around and saw Lillie and Gladion. Lillie was in her "z form". She came back from Kanto and would return in a week to do more research ultra wormholes.
She ran up to you and gave you a big hug. "It's great to see you", you said. She grinned. Gladion was behind her.
"Hey Gladion", you said. He slightly waved his hand. You smiled at him and he grew slightly pink. Hau looked at him glaring at him.
"Where going shopping if you wanna come to. You always talk about shopping.", you said. She nodded and linked your arms like chains. You two walked with Hau and Gladion behind you two.

"You know it was MY date with her", Hau whispered grumpily.
"My sister wanted to tag along. I'm spending time with my SISTER, she's spending time with best FRIEND", Gladion whispered back.
"Well you could've said 'hey sis let's go do something else and not interrupt that cute couple' but no you said nothing", Hau whispered. Gladion whispered.
"Couple? Really? You two aren't even dating. This isn't even a date", Gladion whispered. Hau and Gladion growled at each other.
Lillie turned her head at them. "Play nice!", she said. You giggled at her.

You and Lillie were looking at the jewelry at the store. Hau called you over to were he was at the shirts. He held up a (fav color) shirt with long sleeves and a small chibi (fav pokemon) on it. "Aww Hau you know me so well. What size is it", you asked.
"A (shirt size)" he said. "Yay my size I'll go try it on", you told him. He nodded and smiled as you walked away.

Gladion had watched the whole scene as he leaned against a door.
"If you like her say something to her", Lillie walked up next to him. "Like she would ever like a jerk like me... I was an asshole to her her whole journey", he said,
Lillie gave him a stern look.
"She understands why you were you had a rough life. She understands". Gladion nodded. He knew she understood, when he told her about his past she hugged him.
He knew she understood.

"That looks amazing on you", Hau complemented. The shirt was just a little big on you. The shirt covered your short black shorts. "Really?", you looked into the full body mirror. Hau walked up behind you and placed his hands on your waist.
"Yeah... you look amazing in everything", he whispered. He then nuzzled into the crook of your neck.
"Y-you think so", you blushed. He nodded and smiled.
"I'm gonna gonna g-go cha-change real q-quick", you stammered. You ran into the changing room.
Gladion walked over to Hau. "You need to stop", Gladion said. Hau smirked.
"Stop what", Hau acted innocent. "All of that", Gladion referred to the incident from a few moments ago.
"Hau come here!", Lillie called him as you came out of the dressing room. She plan to give her and Gladion alone time. Hau naïvely went over to her.
You walked over to Gladion. "Where's Hau?", you asked. He told you Lillie called Hau over.
"If you want I can ,um, hold your shirt for you..."he said.
"Really I'd appreciate it!", you said to him. He took the shirt from you and you two continued to look around the store. As you look at dresses Gladion wrapped his around your waist. "So um (y/n)... after this would you...um I don't know... like to go get something to... eat?", he asked.
You looked at him and grinned. As you were about to speak someone tackled Gladion.
"Hey! Gladion! Old time best friend! How's it going? You been great", Hau said squeezing him a tight kind of painful looking hug.
"H-Hau I-I can't b-breath", Gladion managed to get out. You didn't see but Hau rolled his eyes and let go of the blonde.
"(y/n)!!! Come here!!! I found something for you!", Lillie yelled.

After you had left Gladion and Hau began to growl.
"Your an ass", Gladion said.
"Your an asshole", Hau retorted. Gladion rolled his eyes.
"Look let's not ruin (y/n)'s birthday. Let's settle this... tomorrow", Gladion suggested. Hau smirked. He then held out his hand for Gladion to shake. The blonde boy took his hand and shook it.
