Chapter 1: Garage Sale

Sam's POV

Here i was limping my way back home while holding my bleeding arm...

Mia Is my bully ever since I entered our school. Her full name is Mia Grace Gertrude Latrell and yes she is Italian. She's your typical school whore. She has nice legs,killer body and a beautiful face. Every boy in school falls for her charms no one and I mean  No One escapes her charms. She is the school's IT GIRL only a lot more slutty than most.

I freaking hate her!!!

5 minutes passed and I entered my home luckily my parents weren't here yet or else I'd be dead...

When I got in I quickly went to the bathroom to clean my wounds and cover them up with a little bit of my mom's makeup.

After I finished I got out and changed my clothes inside my room.

"Sam!!! Mommy and Daddy is home!!!"

Phew! Luckily I just finished changing my clothes...

"I'm here mom"
"Get down here we're going shopping!"

I got excited in an instant. Cause every time we go shopping I always get to bring home something really good.  Kinda like last time I got the latest album of my fave band and also the some new beat head phones. Lucky I know 😁

"Where are we going shopping???"
"At our neighbor's garage sale!"

I also got disappointed in an instant.Cause of all of the places we could go "shopping"
It had to be a freaking garage sale. Like wow,can you even call that shopping in the first place???

"Don't even try to avoid going!!!"

My mother knows me too well...

"Ugggghhhh....Do I have to?"
"Yes, you have to."
"Fine."

I got down the stairs sloppily cause as much as possible I do not want to go...Damn my life.

"Move faster Sam"
"Geeez.. I'm coming mom..."

I say in my most desperate voice...

When I did get down my mother dragged me immediately to our car at set to off to God knows where the damn garage sale is..

Few minutes after riding in our car we got out after my father parked the car and went ogling in the garage sale.

Few minutes also after I got bored and just decided to wait for my mom at the sidewalk in front of the house hosting the garage sale.The house actually looks haunted but in this generation I don't think monsters such as ghosts are real so I'm not really scared. Plus who in the right mind would host a garage sale near dusk??? Obviously not the owner of the house...

Also I saw the owner or must I say owners, it turns out their daughter died a few weeks ago and their selling their stuff to forget about the monstrous and anonymous murder of their only daughter so they can find a fresh new start and move in another town.

I feel bad for them though...

But I Wonder...How did their daughter died and more importantly, Who killed their daughter??? Hmmmmmm....

I was snapped out of my thoughts when my mom placed a old vintage doll in front of my face .

"Look at what mommy got you!!!"
"Ummmm... A doll?"
"Do you like it sweetie ???"
"Yes? I think?"
"Oh good, now come with mommy we're going home now"

I groan inwardly and said :

" Mom, I'm not a kid anymore!!! "
"Aww...but you'll always be mommy and daddy's baby since your our only child"

I sigh in defeat since I always have this conversion With mom and as always I always lose...

So being the good girl I am, I followed my mom's order and got in our car.

" So what did you two ladies buy???"
"Well,honey I bought our little girl a beautiful vintage doll"

My dad then sneaked a peak at  me at the back and commented:

" Well, it's as cute as our little growing lady here"

My mother just smiled in return and after that my father started the engine and settled on driving home.

I examined the doll carefully and what my father said is true it is cute.I smiled looking at it and I traced its features. Some of it is faded but it just enlightens the doll even more...

I guess going to the garage sale was not as bad as I had imagined...

Dorothy's POV

"Hmmmm...Looks like I have a new  owner "
