You and your boyfriend, Cameron, sat on your parents couch watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas in your matching christmas onesies.
You and Cameron have been together for about two years now. Last year you had Christmas at his parents house and this year at your parents house.
"Y/n can you come help set the table?" Your mother called from the kitchen.
"Yep be right over!" You called back getting up from the couch, then giving Cameron a kiss on the check.
"Actually, Cameron come help aswell!" she called again.
"Sure thing!" He smiled.
You walking into the kitchen through the archway and grabbed a pile of plates. As you were walking back out the archway Cameron stood in your way before apologising and moving. You proceeded to the table before your mum shouted making you jump.
"What are you doing?! You guys didn't even kiss!" She shouted.
"Mum what are you on about?" You laughed as you set the plates down on the table.
She didn't say anything except point to the top of the archway. There hung the mistletoe.
"Mum, you can't be serious?" You laugh. You aren't a big fan of PDA, even though it's just your mother.
"Deadly. The story is-"
"I know what it is mum" You groan while Cameron just stood in the kitchen awkwardly.
"Well go on then! Have a big Christmas smooch!" She cheered. You face redden as Cameron gestured over, which you obliged.
You blush was as red as a cherry, while Cameron wrapped his arms around you under the mistletoe. He smiled before leaning down and pressing his lips to yours in a gentle yet passionate kiss.
'Click'
The sound of a camera taking a photo went off and you jumped, pulling away from Cameron.
You looked towards your mum as she held her phone in her hands.
"This one is surely going on Facebook!" She nodded to herself and you groaned putting your head in Cameron's chest.
He laughed.
"Let's finish setting up the table and have dinner, then finish the movie." He told you moving your hair out of your face.
"Alright!" You smiled.
