My little "date" with Kaito is tomorrow and I'm so stocked. Baking a cake with a handsome boy. ...Wait did I really just say that?!
I hear an unlocking sound. Ahhh it must be mom and dad! It's already 9 o'clock.
- Hey mom, dad! - I say with a cheerful smile. They looked at me and smiled.
- Hello sweetheart. - said dad giving me a peek on my cheek.
- Hello Anna, how was your day at school? - asked mom heading towards the kitchen making some hot chocolate.
- It was great! By the way my friend invited me to his house tomorrow to bake a cake. The cake he made the other day was amazing!
- It's a boy?! - my father's eyes almost popped out.
- I'm so proud! My little girl already has a boyfriend! - mom said bringing out the hot coco she made. - Tell me his name.
- First of all, he's not my boyfriend. Second, he's name is Kuroba Kaito - sipping my hot chocolate.
- Your childhood friend?!- said dad. I looked at him, almost chocking.
- WHAT?! Mom...?Dad...? Kaito is my childhood friend?!
- Well...since you brought the subject up...why not confess to her? - said mom looking at my dad.
- Alright...Anna, you've known Kaito since you were a little kid. You've always played with him. His dad and I were great friends, but we moved to America because of my job. - explained my dad.
- When you were 7 years old, you and Kaito went to play in the park. However you saw a truck that was going to hit the puppy and apparently decided to save him. You got hit instead, I don't think you remember anything from your childhood because of the accident. - said mom.
- So...basically we were childhood buddies and because of the accident I don't remember anything from then. - they nodded. - That's a lot to take in...
- We understand sweetie. Why don't you go to sleep now? It's kind of late. - I nodded and headed to my room while they smiled at me.
I laid in my bed and stared at the ceiling. I knew it! We did have a connection...
I looked at the calendar and realized that tomorrow is the last day of school! I totally forgot! And next week is Christmas!!! Yayyyy!!!
We are going to do a party at school tomorrow!
The party is going to be awesome!
