Some weeks after our break up, I still didn't see him again.

I was worried, mad, angry, sad, disappointed and I felt betrayed.

But the sadness was the worst thing.

I felt empty.

The boy got so important to me in just one month, no one ever got even near Baekhyun's importance.

I didn't know where he went and I even tried to go to his house. They moved houses. At least, the house was empty, as I could see from the windows.

I stood up, feeling dizzy, and went to get ready for school.

-

I put my bag on the floor and sat down.

One thing immediately caught my eyes.

Remember when I wrote "Baekhyun" on my desk?

It wasn't there anymore.

How ironic.

Someone must've cleaned the table or something.

But why exactly now...?

"Park, can I talk to you?", suddenly my teacher asked me.

I looked surprised at him and then slowly went to him.

"Yes, sir. What do you want to say?", I asked politely.

"I have something for you.", he said with a cold face. No emotions were seen.

He gave me an envelope.

I looked at it.

I freezed as I read my name on it, in Baekhyun's handwriting.

I looked with wide eyes at the teacher.

"Can I...?"

"Yes, you can stay at home today. I'm sorry, Park.", he said before I could ask and put a hand on my shoulder, why would he apologize to me?

Could-

No.

I ran out of the classroom.

I ran home, took the car keys and drove to the hut, again.

I went in, threw the keys on the floor and took the envelope out of my pocket.

I opened the envelope with trembling fingers. A letter caught my sight.

The letter was long.

And the writing was a little smudged, he must've been crying while writing it.

I started to read it:

Dear Park Chanyeol,

as you must've recognized my handwriting, it's me, Baekhyun.
I don't even know what to write... I think I should start at the very beginning.

One day, I went to the hospital. I got a check up and guess what? Byun Baekhyun has cancer, they said. He wouldn't have a long time to live anymore, they said.
