I blinked my eyes, forgetting where I was at. Panic mode kicking in, I quickly sprung from the unfamiliar bed, head throbbing. I looked down at the large body, nor was James, and nor did I know who it was.
I tried thinking back to last night, memories of James filled my mind. I remember ordering a whiskey and talking to a guy named Harry. Maybe that's who he is, Harry. I really hope I didn't sleep with him.
I quietly walked over to his side of the bed, bending down for a better view of his face. His face half smushed into the mattress and eyes closed. Curly brown hair flopping over his forehead. I can't say this view wasn't cute, he looked like a young kid. Pink, full lips pulled lazily in a straight line.
I poked his shoulder slightly, attempting to wake him up. With no avail, I forcefully shoved his shoulder. His eyes flicked open and he looked up at me.
"Are you Harry?" I asked, him stirring awake.
"Yeah." He mumbled, turning away from me, snuggling back into the blankets.
"Did, uh, anything happen. Yunno between us, last night?" I quietly asked.
"No. Alice, other than you drinking all of my scotch, nothing happened." Harry mumbled again.
"O-Okay. That's good. Uh, not saying that I wouldn't want to do anything with you, I mean." I cut myself off before I embarrassed myself anymore. "I'm gonna go get a coffee. Do you want one?"
Harry chuckled, sitting up from the bed. Blanket still draped over his lap, naked chest open. He had tattoos, a lot of the. The one that really stood out to me was the butterfly. It was in the middle of his stomach. "How you gonna get to the coffee shop?" He asked, looking up at me.
"Oh yeah, I didn't really think about that." I said, remembering that my car was still at the bar.
"Don't worry, I'll get dressed and we can got together." Harry replied, crawling out of bed and shuffling to his dresser.
Soon, Harry had tight black jeans on and a green shirt displaying on his body. I could see some of the tattoos that were littering his upper arm, making out a ship?
We walked out to his car, me gripping the passenger door handle and waiting for him to unlock the car. *click* I pulled open the door and swiftly sat on the soft seat. Harry putting the keys in the ignition, music sounding from the speakers.
"Arctic Monkeys?" I asked, turning towards him. R U Mine, one of my favorites.
"Yeah, their pretty good." He stated, turning the car radio up slightly.
I soon discovered I liked most of the music on Harry's playlist. Ranging from The Fray to some All Time Low, whom Harry explained as only liking a few songs.
We soon pulled up to the coffee shop. Lifting my body from the car, I realized I still have a killer headache. Squinting my eyes as I walked up to the door, trying to prevent the throbbing pain.
"Hey Alice, you okay?" Harry asked from beside me, voice rumbling my ear drums.
"Yeah, just a headache." I answered, barely above a whisper.
"Here, I'll get your coffee. Just back to the car. What do you want?" Harry asked, concern written in his face.
"Carmel mocha breve." I replied. I slowly walked out of the shop and into the car, pulling my knees to my chest and ducking my head.
Harry soon returned from buying our coffees, handing mine to me. I brought it to my lips and took a sip, letting the warm liquid stroll over my tongue and down my throat.
"Do you need to go anywhere else?" Harry asked from the drivers seat, putting the keys in the ignition and bringing the car to life.
"No." I muttered quietly, setting my coffee in the cup holder and wrapping my arms around my knees.
I closed the door of Harry's car and followed him in the house. Gripping my coffee in one hand I rested my weight on the wall. A wave of nausea hit me, hard. I dropped my coffee and ran to the bathroom kneeling before the toilet just before I vomited.
"You okay?" I heard Harry's deep voice ask. I turned to look at him before feeling the urge to empty the contents in my stomach again.
When I was down throwing up my stomach, I flushed my waste down the toilet. Getting up, I made my way to the kitchen, seeing my coffee had been cleaned up. I reached in the cupboard and took a cup out, filling it with tap water I took a drink.
"Here, take these." Harry came in, holding out two maroon colored pills. Taking them from Harry, I filled my mouth with water and put the pills in, swallowing.
"Thank you." I mumbled, resting against the counter. "Sorry for being such a bother. With the drinking, crying, and puking. I just need to figure out where to go and I'll be out of your hair." I explain. I felt bad for causing so much trouble for Harry.
"It's fine, really. Stay as long as you need." His voice soft and caring. I felt better when I was with Harry. He was nice. He's appearance was not the nice guy look, but you can't judge a book by it's cover.
My thoughts were cut short when I heard my phone ringing from Harry's room. I quickly rushed to it, digging it out of my bag.
James
The caller ID read, I thought about answering it or not. I sighed, I have to face him sooner or later.
"Hello?" I said in the phone. Wishing I hadn't picked it up.
