Hello, I know I'm not the best of writers but I am trying on this story. Please comment or vote if you like. I love to have feedback on this story. :)

Emily Smith ---------------------------------------------------------->

During 7th period, I excused myself to use the bathroom. Once I walked into the bathroom, I headed towards the mirror to check myself. My makeup was beginning to smear so I did some minor touch ups.

While I was doing that, a toilet flushed and out came Emily out of the stall. She strood over to the sink next to mine and began washing her hands. It was very quiet until she spoked.

"Why do you hang out with her?" Emily's question came out of the blue. She went to get a towel.

"Hang out with who?" I turned to face Emily.

"You know who, that short Asian chick you always hang with, Mandy. She's a little bitch." She leaned back against the wall and crossed her arms. Her hazel eyes starred at me, judging.

"Because she's my bestfriend and is very kind to me." I mumbled, my eyes looked down to my heels whiched looked cheaped compared to Emily's fashionable heels.

"You know Abi," Emily walked closer to me, "you have alot of potential to hang out with my firends but you waste it away hanging out with her. Plus if you do ever hang with us, your school year would be so much easier."

My eyes slowly looked up to her. "But you make fun of my ass all the time."

Emily laughed and touched my shoulder with her cold hand and tightly squeezed. "That's cause you have a nice big ass. I'm not trying to sound like a lesbian, but I like your ass and I'm jealous of it. But this is what I'm trying to get through to you, a popular girl is jealous of you." Emily was smiling a genuine smile, no fakeness. It was as though I was looking at a different side of her.

"But wouldn't that be a bad thing if your jealous of me? I mean you already tripped me in class and made me look like a fool."

"I know," Emily frowned, "and I do feel bad for doing it so this what i would like to give for an apology. We have an empty seat at our table and your welcomed to come join us anytime. The only thing is that your friend can't join us. So you better take up the deal, cause we all will make your school year amazing and we're not that bad once you get to know us."

And with that Emily turned and walked out of the bathroom without another glance.

ooo

That night I thought about what Emily said in the bathroom. Did she mean what she said, am I really that pretty enough to hang out with her and her friends? Whatever the reason for her for her giving that offer, I didn't quite trust it.

"Where's my Mandy when I need her?!" I groaned into my pillow.

I got off my bed and walked out of my room. The hallway was dark except for the light that came out from the living room. Slowly I crept past my grandma's room and headed towards the living room. There I found my mom cuddled on the couch, watching tv.

"Mom," my voice was just a whisper. I was suprised when she turned around to look at me. "Can I use the phone for a while?"

My mom smiled, "Sure, sweetie, you don't need to ask to use the phone."

I quickly grabbed the phone off from the side table and ran towards my room. My bed creaked loudly as i plopped down onto my bed. As I typed Mandy's number, my heart slowly sped up.

Before I pressed the call button, I prayed to myself, please don't let Mandy kill someone. I pressed the call button, click. The phone beeped several times, it seemed like forever, until Mandy answered the phone.

"Hello." Her voice was groggy.

"Hey, Mandy, it's me, Abi."

"Abi? What you doing calling me at.." There was a pause. "11:20 pm?"

A blushed rose across my cheeks. "So I'm guessing I did wake you up. I wanted to tell you something about what happened to me in the bathroom during 7th period and I wanted your advice on it."

"Ooookay?" Mandy mumbled avoer the line.

"Emily Smith told asked me to join her group.. Well more like she told me to." I waited for Mandy's screaming to happen. It never came, all there was was silence. nd just when I was about to end the phone call, Mandy spoke.

"Can you say that again?" Her voice was quiet and a tad bit scary.

"Emily told me to join her group."

Off went the fireworks.

"That good for nothing little slut told you to join her group?! After all those fucking times she has picked on you and made you look bad in front of the student population, she thinks she can tell you that. I'm gonna slaughter that bitch and hang her guts like party streamers all over and place her head on a white table surrounded by pigs with an apple in her mouth. And everyone is gonna have a little fiesta and pin the tail on her artificially tanned ass!" Her yell was so loud, I had to pull the phone away from my ear to hear what she had to say.

"Mandy, calm down" My voice was shaky. "I need you advice on what to do."

"I say we should break into her house and kidnap her and drown her body in the river." She laughed.

"Be rational, Mandy, I really need your help."

"I was being rational, but oh well.. But tell me, what are you thinking of doing?"

"Well, I was thinking of..." My voice trailed off. What am I thinking of doing? "Maybe trying it out and seing what they're all like."

"Abigal Marie Turner! Don't let Emily seduce you into the dark side so easily."

"But Mandy, maybe I can get Emily to lay off our backs if I hang out with them and get to know them. It's not like I'm gonna ditch you for them, your my bestfriend for crying outloud." I was getting frustrated now. Mandy can be so difficult at times.

"Okay, but I warn you, the dark side is not as fun as you'd think it be." Mandy sighed. "Well Abi, I'm gonna go back to bed now. Night, and I'll see you tomorrow."

"Night Mandy."

The line ended.

I laid back onto my pillows and sighed, tomorrow is gonna be a long day.
