Briar's POV

It's Christmas eve!!! Even though a lot has gone on in the last few weeks I'm still going to enjoy Christmas because it's CHRISTMAS!!! I charge downstairs when I wake up and grab my advent calendar off the window, with excited hands I open the final door, which has an awful Christmas joke inside "what do you get if you eat tinsel?" "Tinselities!" I mean who hasn't heard that joke before? There's also a Santa shaped piece of chocolate
"Honestly Briar, anybody would think you're 4 if they didn't know." My Dad jokes making me giggle, then I hear footsteps behind me, I turn round and see Abbey sleepily walking into the kitchen whilst rubbing her eyes, that's what I look like most mornings....
"Briar, you woke me up." she complains
"It's CHRISTMAS EVE!!!" I scream at her just to wake her up more, you're welcome
"It's only half ten." she complains before turning round on walking back upstairs to bed I imagine.

Once I've had a shower and got dressed I check my phone to see I have a snapchat of "Mylo😏💖😏"open it and read it
Myles: You fancy coming round mine later and watching a Christmas movie?
I smile at the thought before remembering that if I go round I'll have to lie to him about Devon and I don't want to dampen my mood on Christmas Eve so I decide to decline
Briar: Sorry babe but I said I'd have a movie day with Abbey
He'll believe that, I hope. After a few seconds he opens it and replies
Myles: Awww, too bad I wanted to cuddle with my girl but I guess I'll just go hang out with Devon
I sighed and then put my phone down, my mood went from up in the sky to down in the depths of the earth. I walk into Abbey's room and see her sat on my bed
"Do you fancy a movie day?" I ask because I don't want Myles finding out I lied to him, she shakes her head
"I'd love to but I'm going round to Devon's, I think he might like me and I think I like him." she say's excitedly. Great. So now if Myles asks to go round to Devon's he'll find out I lied and my sister likes Devon, who nearly got me pregnant and made me have to lie today in the first place, but the hardest thing about hearing what Abbey just said was that Devon's moved on and completely forgot about me, I thought maybe he liked me....

Devon's POV
Will making friends with her sister make her like me? Will we get closer? Will she suspect anything? Should I make a move on Briar now? Or do I wait until me and Abbey are 'friends'?

Briar's POV
I go back to my room feeling even worse than I did when I left, I didn't even thing that was possible... I reach for my phone and press the power button, instantly I see I have a snapchat off Myles, I open it
Myles: I thought you and Abbey were having a film day, why's she going round to Devon's?
I have to think quick
Briar: She just changed plans on me then so I guess I'm free, what time do you want me?
If Devon's moving on like it never happened then maybe Bryles can get back to normal, I get a snapchat back and open it up
Myles: Does 12:30 sound any good?
Briar: Suits me

A/N: This is kind of a filler chapter because I wanted a Christamsy chapter but I hadn't planned it so yeah.....
