dino99 is calling...

call accepted.

my mouth fell wide as soon as i answered the call.

"vernon?" i almost whispered as i saw him. he looked more mature than when i first met him, and he had grown so much! i almost didn't recognize him.

"kyky!" he screamed and waved at me, a very large grin plastered on his face. he looked over at dino. "i thought you were lying when you said that you were talking to her!" dino smiled at him and vernon turned back to me. "how are you doing?"

"i'm great! and you? how's the capital treating you?" i asked back.

"wonderful! you should taste the kimchi, it's almost as good as my mothers." it watered in my mouth by just thinking of it.

"explain to me, guys. how do you two know each other?" Dino asked, looking slightly confused.

"well, it started in busan." vernon said. "we both came from the states and had moved to korea, and we got put in some group for newly arrived americans."

"we met every day through this group and practiced korean together. we grew up together, basically." Vernon smiled as i explained to dino. "but then, he moved to seoul and left me here alone..." i pouted and faked a cry.

"well, at least i have him now." vernon said and hugged dino sideways.

"and what do i get?!" i said and he laughed.

"you can have him aswell! through Skype." i smiled at vernons comment and picked up my phone.

"i'll leave for the bathroom. be right back," dino said and walked away. when the coast was clear, vernon scooted closer to the camera.

"hey," he almost whispered. "do you like him?"

"what?!"

"i said," he looked around. "do you like him?"

"why would you ask?"

"why do you think?" i shrugged and he rolled his eyes. "he's clearly nuts for you, kyla."

"what do you even mean?"

"can't you tell?" i shook my head. "he likes you. a lot."

"you've never been good at these things, vernon..."

"i've known him for so long now, so i think i can tell-" he was cut off as dino entered.

"what were you two discussing?" he asked and vernon hid.

"nothing special, nothing special..." he said and i laughed, along with dino.
