It was Christmas day and I was so excited. A lot of people had messaged me, including the Barca players and their WAG's, as well as Neymar. He was in Brazil at this point, meaning that his time zone was six hours ahead of me.

I wished everyone else and then brushed my teeth, before heading downstairs in my oversized, Christmas sleeping dress. I had stockings on as well that came up to my shin.

Sofia and Lauren were already by the Christmas tree, along with Lauren's siblings: Taylor who was fifteen and Chris who was seventeen.

Sofia was in need of opening her presents but I'm pretty sure that my parents forbidden her from doing so, until we at least ate breakfast.

I walked towards the tree and sat next to Sofia, who threw her arms around my neck and jumped on me.

"Merry Christmas Mila!" The little girl squealed into my neck.

"Merry Christmas, princess! Are you opening your presents later?" I asked her.

"Yeah, Clara said she was going to make breakfast first." The eight year old told me.

My phone was constantly going off and quite frankly, I didn't really go on any social media for the few days that I had been staying here back home. I was mainly out, helping my parents shop for food, and also get last minute things for the house.

All in all, it has been a very busy week.

Michael, Lauren's dad, appeared into our living room and shot me a smile before speaking out.

"Breakfast is ready guys." He smiled.

Sofia was the first to run into the kitchen and find a seat so that she could eat. She probably wasn't hungry, she just wanted to open her presents.

The food was a simple meal of pancakes and some fruit. It wasn't too filling because of the meal we'd be having later on.

After Sofia had finished her food, she rushed Lauren and I inside so that she could open her presents. She wanted us to be there so we could be as shocked as she was.

Lauren and I sat down beside her, while she pulled out all presents that had her name written out. Soon after, Taylor, Michael, my parents and Lauren's all joined us.

Sofia read the name tag on the first present she saw, which was obviously the biggest.

"To Sofia, merry Christmas my baby, love from your second favourite, Lauren." Sofia read out

She looked at Lauren sheepishly, "I'm not a baby!"

We all chuckled, whilst Sofia began to rip open the present.

Inside was a Disney princess castle made from Lego, which you obviously had to build yourself in order to be able to play with it. It was bright pink and was the perfect present for my little sister.

Sofia's jaw had dropped and she couldn't help but squeal in excitement.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Sofia shrieked in Lauren's face whilst hugging her.

Lauren laughed and then told her to open up another present.

This was from Taylor and Michael.

The present has more dolls and accessorise for the castle that Lauren bought.

"This is the best thing for my castle! Thank you so much!" Sofia hugged both of them tightly.

"You're welcome gorgeous! A princess castle for a princess just like you!" Taylor pinched her cheek.
