We have had many amazing professors here at Hogwarts over the years. Some of the most well known bring from Harry Potter and the Golden Trio's time here. As the daughter of two members of the golden trio, I have heard many stories of their adventures as well as a lot about some of the teachers for example; previous Headmaster Albus Dumbledore and another previous Potions, DADA, and Headmaster Severus Snape. During this month's issue we shall be focusing on the Professor Severus Snape and his actor Alan Rickman, who died on this day 1 year ago. RIP Alan Rickman.
Severus Snape taught two lessons on his way to becoming Headmaster, first Potions after attempting to get the Defence Against The Dark Arts position and then eventually DADA.
Hogwarts has previously had 6 DADA masters, in the time that the Golden Trio attended here. They have included: Quirinus Quirrell, Gilderoy Lockhart, Remus Lupin, Alastor Moody, Dolores Umbridge and finally Severus Snape.
