Catching His Eye

"Hey, baby." I heard behind me, along with a wolf whistle as I walked past some guys. I waved my hand from behind me and shouted over my shoulder,

"Look as much as you want, it ain't happening, hun." And kept walking, swaying my hips with each step.

Today, I had my hair curled and my normal black eyeliner and mascara on. I had red lips that went very nicely with my hair and my black outfit brought it all together. I was sexy, and everyone agreed. Turning the corner in order to get to biology, it just so happens that I see Dan In the hall, walking there as well. I took my opportunity.

"Ouch!" I squealed innocently once I'd hit the ground, pretending to trip and run into him. We were both on the concrete floor, me rubbing my knee and him rubbing his head.

"I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" I bent over, showing some cleavage, looking at the spot he was running on his head. His eyebrows raised a bit, acknowledging his attraction towards me. Perfect.

"Would you want me to get you some ice?" I batted my eyelashes.

"I.. Ah, um," he stammered.

        Got him.

I smirked, this was easier than I expected. That's when he stood up and walked away. For a moment I just sat on the floor, not exactly processing it. He... Rejected me? For the second time? Who does he think he is? No one has rejected me! I stood up quickly, frustrated and annoyed. Alright, this is getting serious. I'm determined, and no one can stop me when I've got my eyes set on something.

"Sera?"

I groaned, "What?"

I sat in my seat behind Daniel and focused on the waves of his dark hair. Until someone oh-so-rudely interrupted my zoning out. I turned to the source of the voice and saw Dalton. His golden hair was cut short and his deep brown eyes looked at me timidly. Timid? Dalton was never timid, not even in bed.

"How've you been?" He whispered.

"Uh... Good, I guess?" I rolled my eyes.

"Would you- do you want to hang out this weekend? My parents won't be home, so..."

He looked away from me as he said the last part. I grinned. I mean, he wasn't amazing in bed, but he'd occupy me for the weekend, so why not?

"Sounds fun, babe. I'd love to.. Catch up."

I winked, flipping my hair as I turned away. As if on queue, the bell rang and I saw Daniel dash out of the room immediately. I didn't even have a shot of catching up to him, so I didn't try. Instead, I went to Steph, who just walked out of the classroom next to mine.

"Not going well?" She guessed when she saw the aggravation clear on my face.

"Not at all."

I spoke through clenched teeth as we walked to the parking lot. Third period? Us two don't go to third period. Our third period is Starbucks.

"Did you try the accidentally-on-purpose trip?" She suggested. I groaned in frustration.

"Yes! I smiled, I complimented him, he even got a clear view of my boobs. Not one word from him."

We slid into her powder blue vintage mustang, and she gave me a sympathetic smile as she closed her car door.

"Maybe he's just not interested." She reasoned, checking her self over in the mirror before she started the engine.

"Nobody is ever 'not interested'." I spoke confidently. I'm not conceited, I just know what I'm capable of.

We were pulling out of our parking spot when I spotted the boy with the black framed glasses walking in the parking lot.

"Steph! Steph, he's right there." I pounded on her shoulder and pointed at Daniel.

"Why's he out here? Shouldn't he be in class?" She asked. I just shrugged. We kept still and waited for him to get into his car, except he didn't.

He got on his motorcycle.

"He has a motorcycle?" She asked me, just as surprised as I was.

"Guess so. Where's he going?" I asked as he started to exit the parking lot. Steph pulled out and started to follow him,

"Only one way to find out."
