The word 'Peach', commonly used in Malory towers in the younger forms, has been questioned for years. In fact, none other than the heroine of the series, Darrell, once ticked off her younger sister, Felicity, for using it. Here's what it means:

HISTORY
The word 'peach' has a remarkable history. Long ago, in the ancient land of Greece, a wise man nicknamed Ptolemy was cornered and asked what he thought of the new kings coronation. Looking around wildly for a word to describe how wonderful it was, his gaze fell on one thing: a basket of peaches, freshly imported from Morocco. He opened his mouth, and the one word that came out was peach. Since than, ' peach ' has been used to describe someone or something Marvelous, in the words of Enid herself.

DEFINITION
Use this word to describe someone or something you think is beyond this world. For example, Felicity Rivers can often be heard shouting: 'Mam'zelle, you're an absolute peach!' after the mistress just cancelled a spelling test, or Dicteé, as they are called in France.

WHEN TO USE IT
When your fates are aligned the right way and fortunes smile upon you, it's the perfect word to describe the person who caused your good fate- from a janitor right to the president.
