The night was getting worse, the rain was starting to come down and a few strikes of lighting lit up the sky. Your parents called you earlier and told you that because of the storm they had to check in to a motel, and that meant they couldn't come home. So right now it was just you all alone in your room, trying to block out the sound of the storm.
Getting back to your paper that you were working on for English, your eyes noticed the photo frame sitting next to the pen holder. In it was a photo of you and Isaac, it was taking while both of you weren't looking (thanks to Lydia) and ever since then it has been your favourite photo of you two. The thing was your relationship with him didn't turn out the way you wanted, and even though it's been a few weeks the pain and wound were still sore. What made the situation even harder was having to set aside feelings to constantly stop supernatural attacks in Beacon Hills. Breaking from your thoughts, you went back to write the ending of the English paper.
10 minutes later you finished and that's when you heard a knock on your door. Wondering who it could be, you got up off your chair and opened the door. Standing on the other side was Isaac who was wearing a white t-shirt which was soaked due to the rain. Trying so hard not to stare, he looked up at you and said "I was wondering if I could ask you a favour?" "What sort of favour?"
Issac dropped the bag that he was carrying, and you were pretty sure you could guess what he was going to ask. "Derek sorta kicked me out, and I was wondering...well hoping if I could stay here. I know I shouldn't of came since you and I broke up...but I guess I'm just so used to coming to you whenever there is a problem, I forgot that now I'm not suppose too"
"My parents aren't home so you can stay here for the night. After that we'll talk about what to do next" you said giving him a shy smile. He smiled at you, and headed to bathroom most likely to change his shirt. Maybe it wasn't wise to allow Isaac to stay, but just because you and him weren't together anymore didn't mean that you don't care about him. Feelings don't go away overnight, and at this stage you didn't think they ever will. But Issac meant everything to you, and turning him away when he needed you wasn't ever going to be an option. No matter if you and him were in a relationship or not.
