To catch his attention from the start
Sweaty palms and racing heartWhat did he see in plain old me
What part of me sparked his curiosityCould it be that he saw past the facade
The one I've been building for decadesEvery time he looks into my eyes
I find it harder to tell my liesIt's like he sees into my soul
And god knows what he sees in that dark hole___________________________
Hey guys!
Thank you for giving this book a chance. It's going to be a collection of short poems and let's be real, it was inspired from personal experience *wink wink* Oh the drama.
(And if you're reading this and you feel it's about you, get over yourself. It is. But you don't deserve it)
Feel free to cringe, some aren't even written that well just scribbled in haste and overly dramatic hehe but hey if you like the decent ones please feel free to check out my other poetry works on my profile.
Cheers!
