My dear Yuri,
Thanks for the mail! I rarely ever get that kind of letter these days, so I'm still glad it wasn't some kind of can I get an autograph again ;) I have to tell you, it really made my day. I'mma help you with pleasure so if you have any more questions, at any time, just write to me (I might not answer the same day but I promise you'll get a mail/phone call/visit as soon as possible). It's always nice to know that somebody wants to get advice from me (my coach doesn't find it a good idea though, he says i'd suck at coaching).
You asked how I cope with stress. I have some routines that I like going through- it usually is music and walking my dog (btw, do you have an animal? what do you like to do? I'd love to hear more from ya) sometimes talking to people. And skating. It's like finding my safest place, for me it's with my blades and friends. You should think about what it is for you
But from what you wrote me, I can tell that you don't easily talk to people. That's alright, don't need to stress about that one, too. Start with something smaller- breathing. Yakov told me once that it is worth a try to find a silent place a few minutes before hitting the ice. Maybe that will work for you too. It helped me in the beginning :)
And as I said, you can always write to me. You won't cause any problems, even if you think you'll. I also have a request for your friend:
Yuko, if you read this, keep him safe and take care that he writes me a letter on anything thats going on
Write soon,
Viktor Nikiforov
PS.: I'll be waiting

'Yuki!! Oh my god... It's here, it's here. He wrote back.' Yuri shouted and anxiously opened the mail. So it was about to happen- big rejection or something else?
My dear Yuri... This three words were enough to make Yuri more nervous than he'd ever been. Just the fact that the man he put on a pedestal called him dear was overwhelming. Even though, he couldn't stop reading
I'mma help you with pleasure...
'Is this real? Yuki what have you done?' the skater wouldn't believe his eyes, but it didn't seem as his friend'd done anything. This was the one and only, living legend Viktor telling him that Yuri could talk to him, whenever he felt like it. Write soon... 'The Russian obviously didn't care about proper form' Yuri thought 'Or did he?'
'This advice is actually kinda wise' Yuki broke the ongoing silence 'It sounds like something you could try doing. I'm glad this isn't some rubbish like eating borsch. I'm really glad' she smiled and looked at her friend. His face in that moment could tell everything.
He felt loved, honoured, but also scared. He couldn't decribe the feeling exactly, it was that kind of stress when you know there is no need for it and everything is fine. He didn't know this emotion was about to end only when he got used to Viktor's weekly feedback
'Me too' he answered 'Me too' he looked at the door. He honestly wanted to be alone now, even for a short break. Yuri probably did this too carelessly, cause his friend quickly started packing her stuff.
'So you gotta write to him? Or do I have to check on you this time as well?' the girl smiled cheesily as she walked through the door.
'I will think of it on my own, don't you worry. I just need time'

It was too late to go to the ice rink but the thoughts just wouldn't stop. Yuri thought about his future plans with Japan Juniors held next November. He looked at the blank screen. He had to write something, he couldn't make Viktor wait.
His Viktor
'Why would I even think that. He will never be mine' Yuri said to himself 'We never even met. But maybe, one day, if I'm lucky..'
He stopped thinking and sat down. Words finally started approaching...
