For the next couple of days, Sofia and Hugo were each getting ready for their first Wassalia together.

Sofia picked out a beautiful dress to wear for Wassalia.

Hugo picked out ravishing tuxedo.

Each royal family knew Sofia and Hugo were really excited for their first Wassalia together. Wassalia Day is the most magical time of the year, but it was going to be even more magical since this is Sofia and Hugo's first time celebrating this wonderful holiday.

For the next couple of days, Sofia and Hugo dreamed of how their first Wassalia would turn out.

Wassalia Eve had come already. Hugo was really anxious about tomorrow, so he decided to ride around the village in the coach with Axel by his side. But as the brothers rode in the coach, they could see that the village was even fancier than it was a couple of days ago.

"Whoa, wasn't the village simpler two days ago?" Hugo asked.

"What is going on?" Axel frowned.

Suddenly, the princes heard villagers arguing about decorations. They didn't have a good feeling about this.

"We'd better see what's going on," Axel declared. He and Hugo jumped out of the coach and ran over.

"What is going on?" Hugo asked. "It's Wassalia Eve. Why are you arguing?"

"Your Highness, do you think Princess Sofia would like these ornaments for the tree?" asked a woman.

"I think she'd like these pretty lights," a man argued.

"This tree topper will be great," another man insisted.

Hugo was beginning to realize that everyone was getting crazy with their decorations because they wanted to help impress Sofia.

"I know you're all anxious to help me impress Princess Sofia by making this Wassalia perfect for her, but this is not a competition," Hugo explained. "It doesn't matter how everything is decorated. We just want this to be flawless."

The villagers understood what Hugo meant...or so he thought. Axel could tell that Hugo wasn't going to be happy with everything being wicked fancy and overwhelming Sofia.
