Sofia the First: The Gift of Friendship

Happy Wassalia!

The big day had come. It was Wassalia Day.

Sofia was dressed in a royal blue dress with her hair in a ponytail. She had her carpet bag and put Hugo's present in. She had this lovesick look in her eyes, showing that she was three times more excited for her visit with Hugo. Sofia always visited Hugo, but this was Wassalia, so it was a very big deal.

"Are you ready to go, Clover?" Sofia asked. She wrapped Clover in a blanket to keep him cozy.

"I'm ready for the journey, and I hope you're ready to see your prince," Clover smiled.

"More than ready," Sofia smiled.

The royal family was ready for their trip to Albuquerque. James was dressed in a forest green tuxedo. Roland was dressed in a red suit. Miranda was wearing her red Wassalia dress. Amber was wearing the gown she wore for the royal wedding.

"Are we ready to go?" Roland asked.

"I hope you're ready, too, Sofia," Miranda smiled.

"I'm more than ready," Sofia smiled.

The royal family climbed into their coach, and the coach took off to Albuquerque.

At Albuquerque Palace, Hugo was dressed in a ravishing royal blue tuxedo.

"Well, someone is looking really sharp today," Axel smiled.

"Thanks," Hugo smiled. He sat on his bed and put on one of his boots.

"Sofia is sure to remember her first Wassalia with her boyfriend," Axel teased.

"Oh, Axel," Hugo playfully chided him.

"What? You're very attracted to her, and you've been freaking out about having a perfect Wassalia with her," Axel smiled. He gently tickled Hugo's toes.

"Hey, that tickles," giggled Hugo. "Stop it!"

Garrick came in and saw his sons laughing together. "Well, this is a wonderful Wassalia morning," he chuckled. "I hate to interrupt, but the royal family of Enchancia just got here."

"Oh, we'd better hurry," Axel declared. He helped his little brother put on his other boot.

The royal family went to greet the Enchancians. Sofia and Hugo were really happy to see each other and hugged tightly. It really warmed their families' hearts to see them like this.

"Happy Wassalia, Sofia," Hugo smiled.

"Happy Wassalia, Hugo," Sofia smiled.

Sofia and Hugo were having a wonderful day. They spent the whole day not only with each other but also their siblings. They even took turns feeding Clover.

"It looks like this Wassalia is perfect after all," Axel smiled.

"It sure is," James agreed.

"How about we stroll in the village?" Garrick suggested.

"We would love that," Miranda smiled.

Hugo would love to stroll in the village with Sofia, but after seeing the craziness yesterday and a few days before, he wasn't sure if he wanted her to see the village.
