Chapter 5

Alexis P.O.V.

I walked over to the next clearing and saw Violet. "How you doing Vi?" I asked bro hugging her. "Fine you ready to rumble!" "You bet I am!" Just then the Socs girls came over. "Cherry, Marcia!" Alexis exclaimed. "Hi, Bob and Randy dragged us here." Cherry said. "Oh sorry about that. Hey I know we're not going to fight so do you wanna come to my house?" I asked. "YEEEEEEEEEEEES!" All the girls screamed a the top of their lungs. "Okay then. Let's go!" We ran through the trees and and saw the boys fighting. "Come on let's keep moving before they see us." Marcia urged. We ran to my house as fast as we could.

Ponyboys P.O.V.

I got punched in the face as soon as we heard the battle cries from the girls fight. I grabbed their arm and judo flipped them. I saw Soda needing help so I tackled the guy kicking him. We rolled on the ground and then he passed out. "Thanks." Soda said panting. Then we ran off to fight more Socs.

Alexis P.O.V.

We got back to my house pretty fast considering I live more than a couple blocks away from the rumble. We headed straight my room. Rumbles can go on for an hour so we had some time to kill. We turned up the music really loud and danced to it for twenty minutes. After that Violet had me sit down on chair and stared at me. "Um is there a reason for this?" I asked getting slightly creeped out. "Alexis you are one of the prettiest girl greasers there are and you could probably get middle class boy if you want. How do you not have a boyfriend?!" Marcia exclaimed.

"I don't know. I'm just not into that stuff. Plus I think Violet would have to take the prize for prettiest girl greaser." I said. "Awwwwwww, give yourself more credit!" Violet gushed. "Just don't end up like me and Marcia. We ended up with drunks." Cherry said sighing. "They can be sweet but the drinking is a really big problem!" Marcia said. "I think you guys should go. The rumble should be over by now." I said. Cherry checked her watch. "She's right. See you later!" She said. They went out the front door. I decide I was too tired to meet the guys so I just went to sleep right there.

Darrys P.O.V.

We won the rumble! Glad the fuzz didn't show. Court woulda split us up if they did. I didn't see Alexis anywhere so she must of headed home. "We beat them to the GROUND!" Soda screamed. "Oww right in my ear." Ponyboy said. We made it back to the house and I went to Alexis' room to check on her. I saw her sleeping peacefully. I smiled and went back to my room.

Alexis P.O.V.

I woke up to thumping around the house. I looked at my clock and saw I had only be sleeping for about ten minutes. Boys must be home from the rumble. Suddenly I heard talking from Pony and Sodas room. I put my ear up to the wall. "Looks when Darry yells at you, he don't mean nothin." I heard Soda say. "Sure." Ponyboy said. "Really! He just got hit with a lot of responsibilities after Mom and Dad died. He loves you a lot." I heard them talk about Soda dropping out of school and then something that caught my attention. "Hey listen I'm gonna tell you something. But you have to promise not to tell Darry. I think I'm gonna marry Sandy." I was shocked. Don't get me wrong, I was good friends with Sandy. She was real nice and pretty too! But Soda marrying her and going away. That was the part that shocked me. "I'll probably wait until you and Alexis are outta school though. So I can help Darry with the bills." I stopped listening after that.

3rd P.O.V

Alexis woke up and went get so breakfast. She saw it was Sodas turn to cook. (A/N"MY SODAPOP BRINGS ALL THE GIRLS TO MY YARD!" Sorry had to add that in)He was making cake. "Yeah nope!" She said walking out the door. "You realize your going to get wrinkles in your clothes if you keep sleeping in them right?!" Soda screamed. "What's your POINT!!!" Alexis screamed back. She slammed the door. She ran to Violets house as fast as she could. WITH OUT GETTING JUMPED!!!!! She knocked on the door and Violets mom answered. "Hi Alexis. Violet is still sleeping. But I assume that won't stop you." She said. "Yep. Good morning and gotta go wake her up in the most annoying way possible." Alexis said.

Violets mom smiled as Alexis ran upstairs to Violets room. She ripped the covers off of her bed and jumped in top of her. "Wake UUUUUUUPPP!!!!!!!!" Alexis yelled. "Only when World War 3 starts." Violet groaned. "Well, I'm gonna be the start of it if you don't get up!" Alexis exclaimed. Violet finally got out of bed and they grabbed a couple apples and headed out. They rode their skateboards around and then went to the park. Then you guessed it a car pulled up. Two drunks Socs came out.

Alexis P.O.V.

When the car pulled up I realized something. "Those are the same Socs that gave Johnny that SCAR!" I whispered to Violet. "You two! In the car now!" One shouted. I looked at Violet and we were both thinking the same thing. "Hold up! First we have fix this fashion emergency right here." I said. "These shoes are just not working out!" Violet said, and she stomped on one's toe. "The pants just totally clash with that outfit they gotta go!" I said, and I kicked one in the shin. He see the in pain. "That makeup job is not fashion forward at all." Violet said as she punched him in the face. "You know what? Let's just redo the whole thing!" I said, and we both side kicked them. They were sent flying onto their backs. We hopped on our skateboards and rode away.
