The rest of the day flew by very quickly, which I was thankful for. I was walking with Grace to our last period when something caught my eye, in the math classroom my sister talked to Nicholas Coddington, they were completely alone. I stared at them through the glass window plastered in the door.
"Soph? What's wrong?" Grace asked realizing I had stop in the middle of the hall and was no longer walking beside her. I moved my head signaling her to look what I was looking at.
"What do you think they are talking about?", I asked her with a frown.
"I don't know Soph, maybe a project?", She replied not thinking about it too much.
"A project? For math? On the first day of school?", I looked at her with an eyebrow raised.
"Yes? No? I don't know! Stop overthinking everything is probably nothing, now let's go", she grabbed my arm and dragged me to last period.
Maybe I was in fact overthinking, but maybe I wasn't... Like, if you think about it, you don't get any projects in math class and other than a project, why would they be talking all by themselves in a classroom? It's weird, and I don't like the thought of it, if I'm honest. Guess I'll just have to ask her once we get home.
When we entered the Chemistry classroom, we sat down waiting for the teacher to arrive. We were talking non senses when someone decided to interrupt our conversation.
"Hey girls, what's up", Zack Moore greeted us. He was part of the football team therefore he was friends with Liam.
"Hey Zack, how's life treating you?" Grace greeted back while I just slightly waved.
"Great, uh, just wondering if you are coming to the welcome football match?" He asked, big smile on his face.
Every year the school will have this football match with some other school in the area to welcome the new school year. Every guy that wants to be in the team also gets a chance to play and at the end, the couch of the team chooses who stays in the team and who doesn't.
The teacher arrived making Grace nod quickly and Zack went to get his seat. I had completely forgotten about the match but if the girls were going, so was I. Plus after the match there's like an after-party, weather we lose or not. It's pretty cool, they make a bonfire and all.
"Liam probably sent him to ask us", She giggled and I roll my eyes, it was hard for the guy to give up.

After the class was over I went to the parking lot to wait for my sister to come out. Siobhan was with me since she was coming to my house to get ready for the match. I saw my sister come out and behind her stood Nicholas, okay seriously? What the hell.
"Hey Soph, so I'm not going home with you, I have some stuff to do", she nervously said and I frowned.
"You're leaving with him?" I asked not so nicely.
She sighed. "Yes, and he has a name okay? It's just a project anyway", she was about to turn around when I spoke again.
"A project? On the first day of school? Scarlett that makes no sense" I crossed my arms over my chest. She rolled her eyes and walked away after telling me not to tell dad. I watched her hop in Nicholas' black ferrari. I sigh and turn to get inside my car and head home.
When Siobhan and I arrived, we went straight to my room, I think she knew I was a bit annoyed by my sister leaving with that guy. What if he was just using her for sex? She can be very innocent sometimes and today I could hear students, mostly girls, saying how much of a fuckboy he is/looks like.
"You do know your sister is 18 years old, she can take care of herself and also sleep with whoever she wants", Siobhan laughed sitting in my bed.
"It's not funny! And I know she is old enough and all but you never know", I shrugged my shoulders.
"You should be happy she is getting laid by such daddy", she commented again and I rolled my eyes. Disgusting.
After some gossip and a lot of candy, Siobhan had to leave because her mother needed her to do some things before the football match. I decided to sleep a little bit before I had to get ready for the match.
A few minutes later I was woken up by the sound of an engine, a car. I got out of bed and went to the window to see Nicholas dropping off my sister. Okay, so not only she leaves school with him but lets him take her home. Now the psychopath's son knows where we live.
