Hello World!
------

I walked silently to the Greyhound bus station where plenty of other people sat. There was a family, huddled together each wearing worn out clothes or hand-me-downs. There was a young teenage girl around the age of fifteen listening to some music with gothic clothes. There was also a girl right next to her that was emo. She had bright green hair and a lot of black makeup.

Luckily since I'm fifteen, I'm allowed to go on without a parent along. I stood by the two girls, waiting for the bus to come and pick me up. I tried to stay low-keyed as best as I could. My head was down to make sure no one got a good look at my face and I also had a ball cap to make sure that no one could even get a peek. I took out my iPhone 5 and pretended to fiddle with it all the while, looking out the corner of my eye for anything suspicious.

Then the realization of what I had just done hit me hard. I had ran away. I know that this was in my best interest but I felt even more lonesome than before. I was going to a different state all on my own. Who knew what could happen? Anything. I wasn't really that scared but I was excited. This is what I wanted to do my whole life but I had to make great sacrifices for it. I knew I was going to miss Dana but I'm glad that she understood my reasoning.

I was still thinking when the bus finally came. I took a deep breath to reassure myself that I was doing the right thing then with determination in my eyes I stepped in the line.

The bus driver looked old and he smelled like a week old trash bag filled with dead meat and bugs. He had a huge white beard that Santa Claus would be proud of with old cat lady spectacles.

I carefully handed him my money. He grunted and flipped through it, looking me up and down. As soon as I was allowed to pass, I immediately went to the back of the bus which only offered so many spots. I took the one on the rights side by a window. It was starting to rain outside, making the screen all blurry.

I had always loved rain. It was gray and gloomy and it helped me get away from people and it usually helped express my thoughts. Though sometimes I like to play with Dana in the rain when we were younger.

Right now that's what I needed.

In my backpack there were a few things that I needed. I had been planning all week and have been sneaking my supplies. I had taken a couple outfits and a bunch of fifty dollar bills that I had taken from my parents' wallets. I also took some candy and fruit for when there was no money to buy food. I also brought my phone but I knew that I was going to have to break it before 24 hours; they could easily track it to me. The last major thing that I took was silver. Silver is deadly to werewolves so I decided to be prepared in case things went south. I had a silver knife and silver bullets but no gun. I decided that I would steal one if I absolutely needed one.

I looked out the window making me more anxious. I was about to leave my home state to a whole different one, on my own. I was wondering how Dana was holding up. I hope she was fine.

The rain was pouring now so that I couldn't see the land and buildings that well. I hoped that when the bus stopped at Clawton that it would stop.

My thoughts were interrupted at least by three hours later by the bus driver yelling, "Clawton?! Is anyone getting off in Clawton?!"

I quickly pushed my way through the people standing in the aisle and stepped off the bus. I was the only person to get off. It was still raining. I sighed. As I got off I put up the tiny umbrella I had taken with me. I knew it wasn't much but it was better than nothing.

I saw the bus driver chuckle as if laughing at an inside joke before closing the doors and driving off. Why did he do that? Maybe it has something to do with the werewolves, I thought. I was getting kind of nervous about this place. I didn't really like it. Well, maybe it has some good in it too. You've only been here for a few minutes, I thought to myself.
