/Yoongi's POV/
"So where else do you want to go?" I asked as I looked over at Yerin who began to think,
"Music shop," she said happily while pointing in its direction before beginning to walk.
The journey to the shop was taken in comfortable silence. Once we were close enough to the shop we were able to see that it was empty with only the staff wandering around aimlessly. I opened the door and let Yerin through first before walking in behind her and closing the door after the two of us were inside. We made our way to the downstairs section of the store where other piano's and keyboards were kept, it was also a part of the shop were barely anyone would go. Yerin quickly weaved her way through the instruments towards the sleek black, grand piano which was placed in the corner. As she sat herself down on the stool, I dragged over a chair from a nearby piano before sitting down.
"So, I want you to look over the music again," she demanded while taking out her phone and searching for something as I simply sat there waiting,
"Okay, but I thought I told you it was fine," I replied thinking back to our first meeting, she dismissed my statement as she handed me over her phone on which her music sheets were scanned in. I took the phone from her before looking through the notes,
"And?" She said after a while as I looked up at her after finishing looking through it,
"It's great, I like it," I stated once again with a shrug, her face displayed some frustration mixed with sadness as she took back her phone from me,
"Well then, if you say so," she mumbled before saying something under her breath which I couldn't hear,
"What was that?" I asked, wanting to know why she reacts the way she does whenever I tell her that the music is totally fine,
"Nothing," she replied quickly and turned towards the piano, "I really liked that new song from your concert, where did you get the idea for the melody from?" she questioned as I thought about our new song. Before answering the question, I noticed a correlation between the notes from my song to the one she was writing, but she has clearly been working on it for a longer time than me.
"I'm not sure, possibly from my childhood," I answered simply while scratching the nape of my neck, not being able to pinpoint the time when I came up with the melody,
"Ah, I see," she answered slightly dejected as her hands made their way to the white and black keys before beginning to play her song. This reminded me of the day when we first met, the same feelings could be felt as she was making her way through the song. Despite it feeling similar, it seemed to be like a completely different piece from the previous one. She managed to manipulate the song to fit her mood and I began to admire her skills; she must've gone through difficult a difficult time to put such strong emotions across. The melody was so special to her but I was itching to join in,
"Why do you play the piano?" she questioned while still carrying on the song in a much more subtle manner,
"I guess," I started before even having my words together as I thought about how to say what I was feeling, "It's not really something that I can explain so easily. When playing the piano I forget about things, it's like a daydream and I enjoy it," I stated as she just nodded. When she finished the song I questioned, "How about you?"
"Well to put it into simple terms like you did, it takes me to a place where all my good memories are stored in a sense," she said smiling as she turned to face me, "Some of those memories are meeting you and your group members," she finished with a slight chuckle.
I was taken aback by her kind words. Not often did I hear comments like that, it was a good feeling knowing that I, and my friends, were able to make an impact on someone. It's something different and the other guys would appreciate this as well.
