Piano Keys [BTS Yoongi FF]

》Christmas Eve《

Yerin woke up from her peaceful dream in a, now familiar, room. Stretching, she looked around and saw that this time she only had a duvet on her unlike the last time, she also saw two heads peaking out over the edge which were leaning on each other. Slowly making her way out from under the covers she pulled a blanket across the two and cleaned up some dishes that were on the table,

"Morning," someone hummed in a sweet, morning voice, Yerin turned around to see Jin slowly getting up to not disturb the sleeping Yoongi,

"Morning, tea or coffee?" she asked the older boy as she turned on the kettle,

"Coffee sounds good," he responded yawning and leaning on the counter,

"Thanks for last night, but you shouldn't have got Yoongi involved," she said a couple second later, regretting that she didn't take a coat when leaving her house.

"Well he cares for you a lot," he said making Yerin look at him, "Even though he only met you like two weeks ago you have become very close, do you know him by any chance?" this made Yerin a little bit stunned, she froze in her place but the sound of the kettle made her jump out of her state.

"Well, he used to be in my school and was very talented. He was the one that made me try out the piano. When I moved away I managed to persuade my parents to get me a piano and a tutor so if I ever met Yoongi in the future I could talk to him about it," she explained slowly as she made her tea and Jin's coffee, "But, I'm not too sure he remembers me. The times I saw him playing the piano he always played the exact same tune, I'm trying to replicate it and I've asked him to help as there is a chunk missing, but he doesn't remember it." She handed over the cup to Jin as she leaned against the counter herself,

"Thanks," he said while taking it before having a sip,

"You know the song, at least a different version of it," this made Jin turn towards Yerin with a confused look, "It's your group's new song." she finished,

"Really? He said that he came up with it on the spot," he stated surprised as he remembered the day when he told them about the new song over the phone,

"Well it isn't exactly the same but most of the notes are still the same," Yerin informed while nodding before drinking her tea.

As this conversation was happening, they failed to realise that Yoongi had woken up from his slumber and heard most of the conversation. It made him feel happy that he found the mysterious girl that he spotted one day looking at him play and the person who he admired for their dancing skills. Jin and Yerin's conversation got interrupted when Yoongi started coughing making all the attention go on to him. Yerin put down her mug and quickly filled a random glass with water to take it over,

"Drink," Yerin said as she put the glass into his hand. After some time, his coughing died down slowly as Yerin took the glass back and placed it on the coffee table. She pressed her hand to his forehead to notice that it was very hot, this concerned her,

"Get under the covers, I'll make you some soup," she stated sternly while pointing over to the couch before getting up and taking the glass to the sink, "Jin, can you do me a favour and go get some medicine for him?"

"Sure," he replied putting his empty mug in the sink and putting on his shoes along with a coat, "Get into bed Yoongi and listen to Yerin," he said before leaving, making Yoongi mumble something incoherent under his breath. Getting up slowly, he laid himself on the bed under the duvet.  As the soup was slowly starting to cook Yerin took a wet towel and put it on Yoongi's head,

"You should have worn something other than pyjama pants last night," she said sitting comfortably against the backrest of the couch as her legs were over Yoongi's, luckily the couch was wide enough as it could double up as a bed, "despite having a coat on you can still get sick," she carried on mumbling as Yoongi was barely listening to her,

"Its fine, I'd rather get sick than have you be sick," he said with his eyes closed as he made himself comfortable under the covers,

"I may get sick from taking care of you," she responded straight-faced,

"Then don't take care of me," he said opening one of his eyes while looking over at her,

"Well I got you ill so I'm going to be responsible," she stated looking at him very determined,

"Okay," he chuckled while getting into a more comfortable position on his side, "Just don't leave without me knowing any more," he said barely audible but enough for Yerin to understand which made her smile before she got up again to check on the soup. After a little bit under an hour, Jin came back with some medication and treats,

"Merry Christmas Eve guys," he chirped happily after finally took off his coat and shoes.

"What?" the other two said in unison as Yerin made her way to see what he bought,

"Yeah it's the twenty-fourth, so I guess we will have to spend Christmas here," he said with sparkling eyes as he got excited over the thought of Christmas,

"Why?" Yoongi said opening his eyes and glaring at Jin,

"Well, you are ill so we won't make you go out. Plus Yerin is staying here for a while with you so it is the perfect place!" He said getting happier with every word that came out of his mouth,

"Oh I see, I'll prepare this place for tomorrow then," Yerin replied without asking Yoongi, simply assuming that he would agree,

"Yah! This is my house," he almost shouted making him go into another fit of coughing. Jin and Yerin just dismissed this before beginning to plan the next day's event.

After some planning about the next day and texting the rest of the group they were all set for tomorrow's dinner, everyone would bring something different from home, after spending it with their families of course. Jin left after having some of the soup, he complimented Yerin on her cooking abilities and told her that he will cook for her one day. Later, Yoongi fell asleep after having his medicine leaving Yerin to tidy his place up for tomorrow. She was done quicker than expected and returned to the earlier position on the couch before starting to read her book with some music playing quietly in the background.

Night time was coming quickly and Yerin soon started to doze off with the book still in her hands and the music still playing, meanwhile, Yoongi was awakening from his nap. He saw Yerin's head fall forward so he decided to take her book away and turn off the music. He got another duvet from the floor which him and Jin were laying under and placed it on top of Yerin after he moved her into a more comfortable lying position. He then started to shuffle as far back as possible on the couch so she wouldn't catch his illness, this almost ended badly as he almost ended up on the floor before balancing himself. 

Yerin's eyes where closed and her long lashes where almost touching her pale cheeks, her lips were in a pouting state which made Yoongi chuckle and think of it as 'adorable'. Soon enough his own eyes were closed as well as he drifted off to sleep, once again.
