*Axle's POV*

We walked into the pack house after the confrontation. The young man was still walking behind me. I walked into the large living room and sat down on the couch. The young man sat in front of me on the loveseat.

"So, tell me a little bit about yourself," I said.

"Okay. My name is Drake Ashford. I'm twenty years old. I was from the Rivers pack. I'm a tracker. And usually get along with everyone," he said.

"Alright Drake, what do you know about me mate?" I asked, Derrick growled in the back of my head.

He hesitated before he answered," All I know is that she was here the last time they said something about her. They sent me here. Now they might know different."

' Well, that's not every helpful,' Derrick whined.

' I know, but we can't loose hope, we will find her,' I said trying to lift his spirits.

"Well, looks like we are going to have more help in the search for her. Welcome to the pack," I said.

"Thank you, sir," Drake said,"I'll be glad to help."

I sighed and head out side to see if I could find any trace of were Lisa could have gone. I walked around the forest all day with no luck. It was around three in the afternoon when I pretty much gave up for the day.

Some of the other search parties had called it a day as well. Several people were in the living room when I entered. I motioned for Justin to come over to me. He got up from where he was at and came to me.

"Any luck at all, Justin?" I asked.

"We didn't even find any broken twigs or branches. I'm sorry, Axle, but we are just going to have to keep an eye open and hope for the best," he said, his voice tainted with sadness.

"That might be for the best. I found nothing. Also we have a new pack member. His name is Drake and he will be helping us."

"When are you going to introduce him?"

"I don't know but I'll try to figure it out."

"You can go back to what you were doing. I'm going to the kitchen." I said and turned toward the kitchen.

Mother was in there cooking what smelt like lasagna. She was quiet even though I knew she knew I was behind her. She continued to cook in silence.

"What's the matter, Mom?" I asked.

She paused what she was doing and looked at me. I had never seen, Mom so sad before.

"I just can't see why she would leave you, honey, and I'm upset she did this to you," she said, sounding on the verge of tears.

"I'll find her Mom. If it's the thing I can do," I said," Now do you need help with dinner?"

"No, sweetheart. I've got it covered."

I nod and head to my office. Once there I get on my computer and look up my mate's history. There wasn't much in her. The only thing I found was what happened to her parents. The stuff said didn't make a pretty picture. By the time I logged off the computer I was fuming. How could they do that to my mate's parents? When clearly they meant no harm. Someone knocked on the door.

"Come in," I said, cooling my temper.

"Alpha, your mother sent me to tell you that dinner is ready," a young lady said.

"I'll be right down."

With that she left. I got up and followed her to the kitchen. Many pack members were already stuffing their faces. I fixed my plate and did the same. After a huge dinner I went to shower and change. I didn't lay down on the bed. It reminded me of Lisa to much. So tonight I slept on the couch in my bedroom.

I woke up the next morning from another dream, same place where the other dream was. Why am I even having dreams like this?
