*Lisa's POV*
"We have actually. The death rate has skyrocketed since you left. You need to come bake for the safety of this pack," the Alpha said.
"Sorry, Mark. I don't belong with this pack. I'm in another and have a big responsibilities there," I said.
"And what would these 'responsibilities' be?" he asked amused.
"Oh, I don't know—being a good mate for one, then being a good Luna for the pack."
Mark looked at me with eyebrows raised. "Do you expect me to believe that?" He looked like he was a bout to lauph.
"No. But you will believe him," I said pointing to the place Axle was coming toward.
"Believe who?" Mark inquired.
"Me," Axle said in a gruff voice, showing up in the spot I pointed at.
He walked over to me wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my forehead.
"Now, for the real reason for why I came back. Where is Katelyn Rogers? I owe her something," I said.
"The where abouts of a member of my pack is not your concern," Mark said mildly.
"Oh, I think it is. You see, after I left my dearest friend was killed by her, so I do indeed, need to know where in this territory she is," I nearly growled.
Mark stayed silent. Oh, yeah. He knows where she is. I scanned a mile a way from us.
' Lisa you are in the mark, Katelyn is to our Southeast,' Kasey confirmed.
' Axle, I'm going to take care of Katelyn then we can leave, just keep 'mister I'm not talking' occupied,' I said through our mind link.
Axle looked at me and slightly nodded.
"Mark I'm going to leave you with Axle, here. I've got something to do," I said before walking away.
Once I was out of their sites took off running toward Katelyn. I took little time to get there. She was in a small field in the middle of the forest. Like she was waiting on someone. I began walking around the edge of the field.
"Katelyn, I heard what you did," I said calmly.
I continued moving around the edge of the field. Katelyn looked to where I was when I said that.
"I know your out there. Why don't you come out here and fight me like a real woman!" she yelled out.
"Oh, but you see. There would be no fun in that. You would be dead before you could blink. And I want to know why. Why did you do it?" I asked.
I never stopped moving. Katelyn turned. Looking irritated and baffled.
"I have no clue what you are talking about!" she yelled out.
"Yes, you do," I said calmly.
"Oh, yeah. Sam screamed out for you when I started to tare her throat out. She just would give up on protecting you. And just before she died she swore you would tare me apart. The thing is, I don't believe you have it in you,"
I ran up to her. She took a few steps back, startled by how close I was to her. I grabbed the nap of her neck.
"Sam, was my only friend. She stood up for what she thought was right. And she was completely right. She knows what I will do for her, just like I knew what she would do for me. Now I'm going to make you pay for her suffering," I said looking into her eyes.
Katelyn stayed silent looking back into my eyes, which had to be yellow by now. I pushed her to the ground and was on top of her in seconds.
"Let's see. How do I want to do this. Oh, I know torture then death. How about that?" I said.
I didn't let her answer, and began digging one of my claws into her thigh. I did the same thing into the other, then bit her on the arms. She screamed bloody murder. After a bout thirty minutes of torture I finished her my ripping out her throat.
I went to a near by stream and cleaned my hands and mouth, before heading back to Axle.
' I'm finished with her, time to go home,' I said.
' Okay, let's go home,' he agreed.
I ran back toward the pack house getting there at nine o'clock. I ran and gave Axle a hug. He leaned down and kissed me. We pulled apart and went up stairs, were we kissed again and continued into the night.
