After Ending (Lloyd)

A/N: Merry Christmas/Hanakkuh/Quanza guys. As a small gift to my original readers on my first story, i wanted to give you all a small after ending story. Sorry for all the grammar errors and the such. I'm writing this pretty late. Besides that, please enjoy!

Your (POV)

" Lloooyyyddd.. Where are we going? " You asked your boyfriend for the fifth time in 20 minutes. Lloyd sighed again and turned his head around to meet your glance. " I told you, it's a surprise. " Lloyd said and leaned back a little. You grumbled and looked out as the sun was starting to set. You could barely make out the yellow rays thanks to the clouds but you loved seeing the clouds reflecting off the pink and yellow hues the sun created. " Well you better make it fast or else we'll be stuck in a snow storm Lloydy. " You told him and he nodded. " I know, that's why I'm trying to go as fast as I can Y/n. " Lloyd replied and his golden dragon started flying a little faster, making the wind push back all of your hair.

It's been about 4 years since you and Lloyd had started dating. 4 Christmases have gone by, making this Christmas your 5th anniversary dating this blonde dork. You've moved in with Lloyd and the rest of the Ninja in their ship and acted as their machinest so Jay and Nya wouldn't have to over work themselves after finishing collage with Lloyd. You also made spare parts in your own time, making a decent pay. You always visited Morro from time to time, despite Lloyd's constant protests. Though, Lloyd's and Morro's relationship has gotten a lot better over the years. They actually could hold a proper conversation now. Morro always supported you two, despite obviously being bitter about losing to Lloyd another too many times. Either way, you all were happy at where we were at.

" Oh.. Come to think of it Lloydy.. Where are Nya and the rest of the guys? " You asked him and he replied with, " I told them that we would be back before midnight. So they're probably still back at the bounty. " You raised an eyebrow but shrugged. A gust of wind blew by, making shivers go up your spine and you tightening your hold of Lloyd's waist. " Where ever we're going, it better be warm. " You commented and Lloyd let out a small laugh.

You soon saw that Lloyd was heading towards Ninjago City, the place where you only remember for awkward moments and collage. Lloyd slowly descended and poofed away as soon as it landed. Lloyd always loved doing this because when he did, you would fall, letting him catch you in his arms. This time was no different. As the dragon disappeared, you could feel yourself being dragged down by gravity. Right as you were about to hit the ground, Lloyd immediately caught you bridal style. You pouted and Lloyd only smiled. " You need to stop doing that. It gives me anxiety you know. " You told him and flicked his forehead. " Oww... But you're so fun and light to carry Y/n. " Lloyd grumbled and placed a gentle kiss on your cheek. You blushed slightly but jumped down from his arms. " Whatever.. So what are we here for? " You asked him, and took a hold of his hand. He smiled at your clasped hands but quickly reverted but at your glance. " Christmas Parade. " Was all Lloyd said before dragging you off into the city streets. " What?.. Parade? They do that around here? " You asked Lloyd dumbfounded. " Yup. But we never got the chance to go because we've always had a Christmas party on the mountains or the bounty. " Lloyd explained and walked into a busy sidewalk. You could feel multiple foreign bodies past you, but Lloyd never loosened the firm grip his hand had on yours. You two silently walked throuh the loud and crowded roads, walking in what seemed to be a maze.

Soon though, you two made your way out of the crowd and into a small cafe. You glanced around the small shop and read the sign outside. " Cafe Veil. Open Mon-Sun 7am-11:30pm. " The sign read and you two walked in. You were immediately attacked by a wonderful chocolate aroma, along with the soft music of a violen in the background. The cafe was small, but it was classic and quite fancy. The walls and flooring were all a shinying dark brown and the tables were all made of mosaic glass. The tables all had only 2 stools, an obvious cafe designed for couples only. There were small chandeliers hanging above each table, each flickering a small reddish, purplish flame. You smiled slightly but asked Lloyd, " I thought we came here for the parade? " Lloyd turned his head back and smiled. " You said you wanted to be somewhere warm right? You can see the parade perfectly from in here. And it's cozy. " Lloyd explained and you nodded. A waitress came up to us and asked, " Table for how many? " You smiled slightly at how weird the question was but Lloyd quickly answered " Two. " The waitress nodded and told us to follow her. We got a seat next to a big rectangle shaped window that had a very nice golden rim to it. The waitress handed us the menu and told us she would be right back in a few minutes. There weren't a lot of people in the cafe, but that just made the atmosphere all the better. You quickly glanced through the menu and said, " I'll pay for my half- " But Lloyd interrupted saying, " Nope. I'm paying for everything tonight. " With a small smile. You raised an eyebrow but then smirked. " Everything? " You asked cunningly. Lloyd nodded and probably started to regret his desicion. " Well.. If you insists... " You started and pointed to the most expensive thing on the menu. " Let's get this one. " You pointed to a large done cake. It was a lava cake, decorated with whip cream and res velvet shavings. " Oh, i was actually planning to get that myself. " Lloyd chuckled and you pouted.

After ordering the cake, you started to hear loud music coming from outside the cafe. The classical violen stopped playing and the rest of the customers started looking out their own windows. You also became curious and looked out to see what was going on. You could see Christmas floats and costumes consuming the streets with hundreds of people crowding on the sidewalks. " Wow.. This parade must be pretty popular huh? " You commented and watch the show from inside in awe. The passing float was a very colorful one, with snowflakes that reflected off the multi colored stage lights on the float and beautifully placed ornaments. You suddenly heard a small thump on the table and you saw the cake you two had ordered. " Wooow. I think this cake might distract me from the actual parade Lloydy. " You joked as you immediately took a piece from the cake. Lloyd chuckled and also took a piece. The moment you stuck the cake in your mouth, it felt like heaven was melting onto your tongue. As you took another bite, you heard a large explosion go off along with multiple colors being flashed. You looked out your window to see what it was. It was fireworks. You smiled greatly and put down your fork to watch the rest of the parade. Lloyd also stayed silent and secretly watched you as you smiled in delight over cute polar bear costumes giving kids candy.

A couple of hours have gone by and the snow has finally started go fall. The cake was now finished and the parade had moved onto the next block. The soft violen music had returned, and you and Lloyd were talking about what you wanted to do the rest of the night. " Hmm... I want to see the Christmas tree they have here at the city center. I haven't seen it before, and what's better than seeing it with my boyfriend on our anniversary? " You told Lloyd. " Yeah, that'll be perfect. " Was all Lloyd said with another gentle smile. You raised an eyebrow again but quickly smiled back at him. " You're being strangely cute today. " You complemented him. Lloyd seemd thrown off a little but laughed. " Aren't I'm always? " He joked as the waitress came to give us our bill. " Ooh.. Good luck on the bill buddy. " You said with a fake sorry smile as Lloyd rolled his eyes with a small smile. After paying, you both walked out of the cafe and started walking towards the city center where all the big shopping malls and busy crowds were. The building ads were shining brightly and all the Christmas lights made the town a whole lot more colorful than usual. Soon you reached the city center and surprisingly, there weren't that many people there. Just a few late night spenders and a couple of families hanging out. You turned your attention towards the gigantic tree standing in the middle behind a running water fountain. Your gaze went higher than expected but you said, " Huh. That's weird. I was suspecting Ninjago City's tree to be bigger than ours. " Lloyd burst out a laugh and covered his mouth. You chuckled slightly and jogged over to the base of the tree.

It was lit up with muli colored lights, ornaments, photos, and glitter. You smiled in amazement and couldn't help but stare. Suddenly, you felt Lloyd let go of your hand. You turned your head around this time looked up at him. " What's wrong Lloyd? " You asked him, suddenly concerned. Lloyd backed away a few steps and took out something from the pocket of his jacket. As he was doing so, snow had slowly started to fall in the city center, and the temperature suddenly became a little colder. Lloyd pulled out something small. It was golden and had a embedded dragon dinted into it. The dragon's eye was a small diamond and the edges were designed with a complex pattern. " Lloyd? " You asked again before Lloyd suddenly bent down onto one knee. Your face lit up red as you finally understood what he was doing. " Listen Y/n.. We've known eachother for a really long time now. And now, i couldn't think of a better time than ever.. So. Will you be mine and do me the honors of marrying me Y/n? " Lloyd proposed to you, right in front of the Christmas tree in the city center. Everyone around you suddenly stopped what they were doing and paid close attention to you two. You couldn't even choke any words out. You were just, a mess of shock and happiness. You smiled and nodded vigorously. " Yes! Of course Lloydy! " You shouted as you jumped onto him, causing the both of you to fall onto the now thinly snow covered ground. Lloyd laughed but then also started to sniff. You backed away from him and looked at his face. He was already letting out some tears. " I-i just... You really said yes? " Lloyd said almost questionably. You smiled and hugged him. " Yes Lloydy! You big goofball! " You told him and stood back up in embarrassment when you heard people clapping around you. You smiled and blushed and thanked everyone of the strangers clapping for you two. Lloyd also stood back up and took a hold of your hand. " Don't go breaking your promises now Y/n. " Lloyd joked and placed the ring onto your finger. You smiled back at him and nodded. " I wouldn't dare to. Especially on a beautiful Christmas like this Lloydy. " You assured him and gently placed your hand back into his.

Suddenly you heard a familiar voice come from behind you. " Y/n!!!! " You turned around and it was Nya. She jumped onto you and started shaking your shoulders. " I just saw what happened Y/n! And can I say, I wanna be the maid of honor!! Pleaaassee!!! " Nya suddenly begged and you chuckled. This was one eventful Christmas alright.
