You and Lloyd were out of the city in no time. The moment you saw the city go out of view is when you started bombing Lloyd with questions. " Were you the green ninja all along? Is that why you always disappear? And how come you go to school if you have such a big job on your shoulders? Plus, how can you be an elemental master and still not get your essay done? " You asked one after the other. " Woah there, calm down y/n! " Lloyd said as he laughed nervously. " I guess... I have a lot of explaining to do huh? " Lloyd said and scratched his head.
" Way more than explain. But yes, answers please. " You told him. He sighed slighty and nodded. " Better listen closely then. " He simply said as you pressed up against him to get a better hearing. " Yes, I've been the green ninja for quite some time now.. There's always trouble no matter what time so i have to get going, even if i have classes. I go to school because it's the only time i learn anything not related to ninja stuff. And lastly, it's because I'm just.. Busy all the time. " He finished and inhaled deeply.
" So... If you're the green ninja... What element are you the master of? " You asked curiously. " Well, according to legend.. I should be able to control all the elements.. But right now i can only control the same elements as my friends. " He explained. " And what exactly are those elements? " You raised an eyebrow. " Ice, Fire, Lighting, and Earth. " He stated and showed off all of them. " Ooohh.. That's awesome Lloyd! Then again.. I can't believe i never put two and two together. " You said to him and pouted.
He chuckled slightly and smiled back at you. " But we can still be friends though, right? " He asked you. " Of course Lloydy. You're like one of my few closets friends. " You explained to him and gave him a gentle back hug. " But now that i know you're the green ninja, i wanna meet the other ninjas too. " You whined. " Maybe someday. " He said. The rest of the ride was rather silent. Riding Lloyd's dragon shorten the trip by a whole 4 hours.
You two came over your village and you pointed Lloyd to land in a open field that hasn't been used by your father yet. The dragon swooped down and stopped just in time to not hit face to face with the ground. " Well... This is it Lloydy. " You said as you got off the dragon and looked over to the rest of the farm. " It's a lot bigger than i imagined. " He admitted and scanned the area. " Put away your dragon, it's already drawing too much attention. " You told Lloyd as you began to see a few houses starting to light up.
" Yeah. Hold on. " He said and touched the dragon slightly, making it poof into thin air. " Well. That's quite convenient. " You thought and started walking towards your house. " Wait up y/n! " Lloyd shouted behind you. " Last one to the house has to write the next page to the essay for the other person! " You shouted back at him and started to run. " H-hey! You got a head start! " Lloyd shouted back. You laughed and sprinted through the long fields of grass.
You panted as you approached the porch of your house. You never realized how far it actually was from the rest of the fields. Lloyd was already there, panting, but not as hard as you were. " I.. Won.. " He said in between large amounts of inhales. You groaned. You already forgot he was the " ultimate ninja ". " Ugh.. Fine.. I'll keep my end of the deal. " You muttered under your breath. Lloyd smirked a bit and cupped his ear. " Huh? Sorry. I didn't catch that. " He mocked.
You playfully punched his shoulder. " Better get inside before we get eatin by the mosquitos. " You warned, but also trying to change the subject. " Okay, okay. " He said and waited until you knocked on the door. " There was a few moments of silence before you heard footsteps approaching the door. " Who is it? " A manly voice rang. " It's just me, daddy. Oh.. And uh.. I brought a friend with me. " You added the last part as your father came to open the door. " Friend?.. " Your father asked as he opened the door.
Once the door opened, Lloyd and you saw your old man wearing his overalls with his farmer's hat. He wore his usual scowl on his face, but it was a slightly scowlier scowl when he looked over to Lloyd. " This your friend?... " Your father asked suspiciously. " Yeah. Lloyd this is my dad.. Dad.. Meet Lloyd. " You said in a slight awkward tone. Your father scanned Lloyd up and down, as if he's validating him. " Uhm.. Hello Mr.y/l/n. It's really nice to meet you. " Lloyd said to your dad awkwardly and held out his hand for a shake. Your dad looked down to Lloyd's hand and ultimately didn't shake it. Instead, he let you two into the house and walked to his room and locked it.
You laughed slightly and told Lloyd, " Sorry about that.. My dad.. Isn't the biggest fan of me hanging out with guys. " Lloyd gave you a small smile. " Don't worry about it. I understand. " He replied to you and slowly followed you inside. The house wasn't the biggest house in the world, but it did have a second story. The stairs leading up to the second floor were located to the right of the front door. Next to the stairs was a small circular entrance leading to a small dining area that also leads into the kitchen. To the left of the stairs was a hallway leading down towards the family room. In the hallway there was a closet door and trap door to an extra storage space.
" Y/n? Are you home already? " Your mother's voice ranged from the kitchen. " Yeah mom.. I got a lift from my friend here. " You shouted slightly towards the kitchen. " Friend? Oh, this is a first. " Your mother replied back and walked towards the door where you and Lloyd were standing in front of. Your mother walked and stop to look at who you brought home. You smiled awkwardly and saw Lloyd pull off a natural smile. " My, i never thought my daughter would know such a good looking guy. " Your mother chuckled and smiled at Lloyd.
" Really mom? " You sighed and put your arms behind your back. " Well, anyways, I haven't exactly finished dinner yet, but why don't you join us uhm.. " Your mother looked over to Lloyd. " It's Lloyd mam. " Lloyd told her and flashed one of his confident smiles. " Well then, Lloyd, why don't you join us for dinner? After all, you must of taken a long time to get here. " Your mother said. Lloyd nodded. " I'd love to Mrs.y/l/n. " Your mother chuckled again and said, " I'll call you when it's done. You must of came here to study with y/n right? " You nodded and Lloyd said a short " yes mam. " Your mother nodded and walked back towards the kitchen.
You signalled Lloyd to lower his head to your height. " Don't try to get on my mom's bad side. She'll go ballistic. " You whispered to Lloyd when he lowered his height. He nodded. You started walking upstairs to your room and he followed right behind. Upstairs was a simple hallway with a bathroom to the right, your parent's room beyond that, a guest room to the left, and your room at the very end of that. You walked towards your room once you got to the top and let Lloyd in as well.
" Sorry it's a bit messy in here. I didn't get to clean up after a mass study night of mine. " You said as you gathered some scattered papers on your desk and floors. Your room was the smallest room in the house. You had a window right beside your bed that was all the way to the upper left of your room. Next to the bed was a small drawer holding a lava lamp and some sketch books. In the middle of the room on the wall was your desk filled to the brim with papers, books, pens, and other art materials. To the right of your desk was a book shelf only filled halfway, with the bottom half being empty.
Above your book shelf was a calendar, last marked on May 19th. On the opposite side of the wall, nearest to the door, was a walk in closet filled with outdoor clothing and some formal wear. Outside next to the walk in closet was another drawer, but this time storing other clothing. Lotion and deodorant decorating the left corner of that drawer. A few bean bag chairs and regular wooden chairs spread out through the rest of the room. " Just sit anywhere you want Lloydy. I'll get the papers for Mr.Lee's project out in a sec. "
" Oh.. Okay.. " He replied and scanned your room. Eventually, he found his way to one of the bean bag chairs and plopped himself down. " Ooh, these are pretty comfy. " He stated as you sat down on the floor in front of his bean bag chair. " Here are the papers i got so far.. And my essay.. Or at least part of it. " You said as you spreaded out the work sheets and data charts around you two. Lloyd leaned over and looked over all the information you have gotten. " Wow. Does all of this stuff deal with elemental powers? " Lloyd asked while picking up one if the data sheets. You nodded and picked up your essay.
" Hey, since you're an elemental master Lloyd, can you explain some of it and how it works for you? " You asked Lloyd. " I would if i could, but giving away that I'm the green ninja would give me way too much publicity. " He explained and you sighed. " Oh, yeah. I forgot how popular you are as the green ninja. " You remembered. " Are you saying i'm not popular as just Lloyd? " He asked with a slight puppy face. You gave Lloyd a slightly serious look and said, " Lloyd, no one would even recognize you at that comic store you always go to after school. " Lloyd took that hit a bit deeply.
" Why do you have to be so mean y/n. " Lloyd whined. " It's because you're trying to sidetrack me Lloydy. " You said somewhat annoyed and went back to your essay. " Oh.. And let me guess.. You haven't even really started on your essay have you? " You asked him raising an eyebrow. He chuckled and said, " You know me too well y/n. " You sighed. " Then we better get working. " You stated. Lloyd nodded and you two began working through the whole night, only stopping to go eat.
