Morro (POV)

I don't know what came over me, but I just wanted to be closer to Y/n. It could just be that I wanted as much as human interaction as possible, or, i was getting way too attached to this human friend of mine. " I can't even make her warm. " I thought shamefully and rested my head on her shoulder. Y/n was stiff still and barely breathed more than a small inhale. After a few mintues went by I whispered to her, " Y/n? " Silence. " She's probably already asleep. " I thought and edged a bit closer to her. I could feel her body heat, but I knew she couldn't feel mine. There was a slight feeling of heat near my cheeks and tip of my ears. I knew I was blushing but I kept my arms around Y/n anyways.

" I wonder if this is what it felt like to be Lloyd. Always hanging around you and getting to see you. " I mumbled into her shoulder. Y/n exhaled slightly and I loosened my grip around her. " It must of been difficult to keep his cool around you. " I whispered to myself and sighed. " I'm starting to loose my edge too. " I thought and glanced over to the wall that was partially not finished. " I should go get fire wood as soon as the rain stops. " I told myself and scanned the outside to see if it was still raining. My senses however, informed me that it was at least still sprinkling. I put more weight onto resting my head on Y/n's shoulders and retighten my hold of her. " I hope the rain never stops. "

Your (POV)

When you woke up, you could tell it was morning. The sun was shining brighter than before thanks to the heavy rain. You first tried to sit up all the way properly, but found yourself stuck in your half sitting position. At first, you wondered why, until you remembered you were stuck in the rain with Morro in his cabin. Your first feeling was surprised, then it turned into embarrassment. You glanced down and saw that Morro was still holding you and resting his head on your left shoulder. You couldn't tell if he was sleeping or awake, you just wanted to get out of your awkward positioning. At first, you tried moving his arms, but found that your arms only went through his. " That's weird.. I can poke him but not move him? " You thought and turned your head slightly to face Morro.

" Hey.. Morro?.. " You mumbled slightly to him. " Hm..? " He mumbled back and glanced up to you. Your eyes met contact for a brief moment until you moved yours slightly. " Can you.. Move your arms please? " You said shyly and waited for his response. It must of took a couple of seconds for him to remember what happened, but then immediately moved his arms and scooted back. " T-thanks.." You shyly said and stood up to stretch. You've been sitting in that position for so long that you could barley feel your legs since they fell asleep. Morro's cape fell off your head and you placed it back onto the bed. That left you with just your plain t-shirt and shorts.

You turned around to look outside and when you turned back around, you caught Morro turning his head away from you. " So... Were you.. Holding me like that all night? " You asked with an awkward smile. Morro didn't answer and instead walked outside. " Heeyy- don't just ignore me. " You pouted and followed him out. You covered your eyes from the blinding light of the sun and saw Morro walking towards a pile of wood sitting a few feet from the cabin. " What're you doing? " You asked Morro curiously. " Finishing the cabin obviously. " He replied back to you without turning around.

" Oh.. Do you need any help? " You asked him and followed him as he walked away with a pile of wood in his hands. " No. " He simply said. You pouted again and asked, " Do you want any help? " He stopped and looked back to you. He flicked your forehead and said, " It's better if you go home. Your parents are probably worried. " You rubbed your forehead and replied back with, " Ow.. You didn't have to flick my forehead to say that. " He smiled slightly and walked towards the wall that was unfinished. You sighed in defeat as you knew that Morro wouldn't let you touch anything. " Fiinnee. But I'll come back to come check on your progress. " You informed Morro and he nodded slightly.
