"Who thought a hotel could serve waffles for dinner at midnight?" I ask, forking up a piece of waffle chunk.

After we got everything situated once we checked in, Camila ordered room service. The only thing we liked on the menu was waffles. The lady on the phone warned us that they might not have waffles at midnight, but we protested. Thankfully, they really did have waffles as breakfast was the next meal.

Camila looks up from her food, smiling at me. "Not me. But I'm glad they do. I was starving."

I finish my waffle, pushing in my chair, I go to roam around the room. This hotel room is smaller than the other one. The bed is the same size, and there is a small round table with two chairs; that's where Camila and I ate dinner. A medium sized window is covered by a blue curtain. Our bathroom is right beside the door, just like in the other hotel.

I jump onto our bed, sighing as my back hits the sheets. I allow my body to relax, closing my eyes and breathing softly. Suddenly, I feel my body bounce into the air when someone plops onto the bed around me. I open my eyes to see warm chocolate ones.

"No sleeping, Lo." Camila grins, both her arms on either side of my torso. She hovers above me, her knees supporting the lower half of her body. "We have to snuggle first."

"Camz," I groan, rolling onto my side, causing Camila to lose her grip and topple onto me. I glance over at the clock, crinkling my nose at the numbers. "It's almost one in the morning. Can't we sleep?"

Camila opens her mouth to speak when my phone rings again. She sighs, shrugging. "I guess not." Camila grabs my phone, handing it to me.

I press the green answer button, bring it up to my ear. "Hello, Dinah." I mumble, sitting up against the backboard.

"I'm 10 minutes away from landing." Dinah says from the other side of the phone. "Just wanted you to know. Got to go though, the lady is yelling at me to put my phone away. Bye!"

I laugh softly, shaking my head at my friend. I get off the bed, very aware that Camila's eyes are following me. I grab the leather jacket, stuffing my phone into its pocket and sliding it on. I zip the front up, tugging the ends down slightly.

"What are you doing?" Camila asks, her voice weary.

"Getting ready to leave." I answer quickly, not thinking much about what Camila might know.

Suddenly, Camila gets to her feet faster than I could snap my fingers. She throws herself at me, grabbing my shoulders and pulling me close. I stumble around as she maneuvers me, trying to regain my balance.

"You can't leave, Lo." Camila pleads, her tone desperate. "I know that at first I didn't want you here, but now I don't know I'll do without you."

"What are you talking about, Camila?" I ask, blinking several times at the brunette. "I'm going to be picked up by Dinah, I'll be back as swiftly as possible, baby."

"But, Lo—" Camila cuts herself off, her facial features turning even more confused. "Wait, what?"

"Dinah is getting married." I run my fingers through my hair, sighing slightly. I feel my eyes getting heavier and heavier, but I can't sleep right now. "I promised I'd go ring shopping with her. I'll be back before 10 in the morning."

"Are you sure?" Camila whispers, tracing my jawline with her fingertips. "I don't want you gone for too long, I don't know what I'd do. I would most likely go insane without you here. I'd worry about you."

"Stop rambling, babe." I chuckle, kissing Camila's cheek softly. "I'll be back before you know it."

"Do you want me to drive you to the place you need to go?" Camila offers, letting go of my shoulders reluctantly.
