"I can't believe this!" Camila squeals, hugging herself tightly while trembling in the cold. I grin over at her, nuzzling my nose against her cheek, shaking as well.
"I'm happy that you get to see her and all, but when will she be here?" Harry scoffs, shivering wildly with Louis laying on his thigh. Louis has his hands resting on his stomach, resting his head on his boyfriend's thigh and looking up at the dark sky.
"Dinah said she would be here as quickly as possible," I remind him, shooting him a sharp glance. "And remember, she lives where I live. Portland."
"Really?" Louis drawls, his tone dripping with pure astonishment.
"Where do you live, Camila?" Harry asks, looking over to Camila. She just shrugs though, moving her hand to my knee. She leans against my side, exhaling loudly.
"Wherever Lauren is, that's where." She answers finally, closing her eyes while snuggling into me. I laugh softly, kissing her head gently. I then wrap my arms around her, allowing myself to relax against the brick wall we've been laying on for hours.
"We grew up in Portland," Louis says, gesturing to him and Harry. "And I'd like to think we could still live there."
"You could be our neighbors when we get back home." I chuckle, nudging Harry. He grins, nodding his head in agreement.
"That'd be great, wouldn't it?" Harry mumbles aloud, his green eyes flickering upwards. Suddenly, I hear a faint snoring sound from beside me. I glance over at Camila to find her body melted into my side, her head lolled onto my shoulder. I laugh softly, kissing her temple softly, not wanting to wake her.
Quicker than I could pull my lips away from Camila's head, a black car swerves into the alleyway where we lay. We all press ourselves back against the wall, our eyes wide with fear. Camila stirs in my grasp, groaning quietly.
"What time is it?" She murmurs, crinkling her nose. I stroke her head gently, my eyes fixed on the car.
"Shhh," I mumble, bring my lips to her ear. "It's alright, my love." I tell her, kissing her forehead quickly yet fiercely. My body is pressed against the wall as the car door swings open, revealing a tall women.
"Dinah!" I screech, jumping up. Camila rolls out of my grasp, landing on Harry's other thigh. She curls up again, sighing softly. Harry just shrugs at both people on his legs, laughing airily.
My friend who I haven't seen in what seems like forever, walks toward me, her arms extended. She is grinning widely, her red shirt flapping in the wind. She pulls me into a hug, pushing me away once she feels that my clothes are still damp.
"Why are you wet?" Dinah asks, eyeing me suspiciously.
"It's nice to see you too," I retort, grinning nevertheless. "And we jumped into the harbor, escap—" I cut myself off, realizing how stupid I sound. "Okay it's a long story. But that's why we need more clothes."
"Oh!" Dinah exclaims, rushing to the back of her glossy, black car. She pops the trunk, shoveling her arms full with fuzzy clothes. "I remembered to bring some. This is a mixture of mine and Normani's clothing."
"It all looks so warm." Louis comments from beside me, earning a glance from Dinah.
"Who is that?" Dinah asks, looking at Louis. Then her gaze swivels to Harry holding Camila. "And that and that?" Harry walks to me, dumping my girlfriend into my arms. Camila immediately buries her face into my chest, mumbling incoherently. I hold her with both arms, supporting her against my breasts.
"That is Louis," I tell me, gesturing with my head at the boy. "And the other is his boyfriend, Harry." Harry waves, a sheepish smile playing on his lips. "We are friends."
