CHAPTER 1:

"The Asset is in Play"

HMS Demeter/The Sanctum: January 9th,2014: 11:00 PM

A brand new year.

The year 2014.

What a strange situation it was when the year changes, and yet the official yearly run of both the Heroes Legion and The Dark Elite's first year hadn't even made it to the halfway point yet.

Meta-Master would have found the situation interesting, or amusing...if he actually cared about how long his and the Dark Elite's feud with the Heroes Legion had been going on for now.

He had more important things to focus his attention to than to reflect on than all of that.

Right now was the time for him and The Dark Elite to start putting in motion the events that he hoped would lead to his gaining possession of "S.L.E.E.T: Project M.G.A", which was very crucial to his master plan that he was building towards with everything that had happened since the "setback" with his Washington DC plot during August.

And if the remaining bit of Data that he had managed to secure from their deceased "Associate" Cash "manic" Williams during the whole Takeover of The Heroes Legion's H.Q (another unfortunate setback because none of them could remember exactly where that was anymore) and if the data was right, then the item marked "Project: M.G.A" should be in his grasp soon.

So now he had gathered the Dark Elite together here in the usual spot in the Sanctum's Helm room, he had been working on a plan to secure the item they needed from S.L.E.E.T itself possession for the past month.

Now it was time to put that plan into action.

After all, certain members of the Dark Elite had their own parts to play in this plan and needed to be informed of them before he revealed to them the secret "Asset" he had waiting in the shadows behind him waiting for him to introduce her to the rest of the Dark Elite.

"Alright Meta-Master" Dominatrix said annoyed, "what's the big deal that you had to drag us out at this hour of the night for?"

Meta-Master ignored Dominatrix's remark and activated one of the video screens here in the Helm room, showing the Pure M-Ray Crystal that Depth Charge had secured during his Coup of Atlantis a month ago.

"I've called you all here to inform you that I've decided that now is the time to implement my plan to secure the item we need to have for my Master Plan to begin to be set in motion. Without it, there is no Master plan and that is unacceptable."

"Yeah, Depth Charge gathered us here last month remember" Judas Black said unimpressed, "You said that we had to steal a certain item locked away in some S.L.E.E.T vault somewhere in Nevada somewhere in order to secure your so called "Master plan's Foundations" as you put it. And apparently the way we are going to accomplish this task is by somehow having or making the Heroes Legion brats do it for us. It sounded stupid then, and it sounds stupid now"

"I thought you would all have your doubts about my little plan" Meta-Master said calmly, "That's why I asked her to come her tonight and ease your doubts on the effectiveness of my plan"
