Chapter 2

We were now walking through a maze of streets and buildings as Gippal, Demyx and I headed to Gippal’s house. Due to my most likely slightly rolled ankle I was catching I ride on the Gippal express while Demyx walked next to us humming.

“So what was that about?” I asked.

“Hmm… what was what about?” Demyx returned.

“You know you guys all getting ready to run off and leave me behind. What were you doing?”

“I wasn’t going to leave you behind, I was going to stay behind to,” Demyx told me.

“How very noble of you,” Gippal chimed in.

“Just doing my part to make the world a better place,” Demyx insisted.

“Yeah, to make your world a better place,” Gippal said.

“Guys,” I said trying to stop an argument before it started.

“Well I see you’re here as well,” Demyx shot back meaning my plan clearly didn’t work.

“That’s because we’re going to my house.”

“I know where you live. I could of taken ----- there myself.”

“And how exactly were you planning to get in.”

“Spare key under the pot plant.”

“How the hell do you know where my spare key is?”

“Everybody knows, it’s been there for years.”

“Guys?” I tried to get their attention again and again I failed.

“Then why don’t you carry ----- and I’ll go meet up with the others” Gippal told Demyx.

“I can’t I’m carrying my sitar,” he said giving a slight rattle to the case it was in.

“Then you woul-“

“Guys shut up,” I interrupted their rant by slapping Gippal upside the head.

“Ouch,” Gippal said almost dropping me to which Demyx laughed.

“What do you want?” Gippal asked sounding slightly annoyed.

“For you two to stop arguing,” I told him.

“I wasn’t arguing,” He replied.

“You were to.”

“Wasn’t”

“Was”

“Wasn’t”

“Was”

“Wasn’t”

“You’re arguing right now!” I exclaimed.

“Am not. This is what I call a heated discussion,” Gippal replied to which Demyx laughed.

“Don’t you start,” I pointed at Demyx and he held a hand up in defence. “How much further?” I asked. Gippal looked around.

“I think we walked past it,” he replied.

“Yeah, we should of turned right two streets back,” Demyx added.

“If you knew why didn’t you say anything?” Gippal asked.

“I didn’t want to interrupt your argument,”

“I wasn’t arguing.” Gippal insisted as I let out an exhausted sigh.
