Chapter Nine

Harry's POV

I fell back on my bed as Louis slammed my door shut. I stared at the ceiling and groaned. How could i mess up so badly? I have to tell Niall, Liam, and Zayn the truth, and i have to apologize to Louis who probably hates me now. I sat up and rubbed my head, unsure on what to do. I could hear Lou leave in his car, and immediately felt guilty.

I decided to apologize, since the feeling of guilt began to swallow me whole, before stopping in my tracks. How was i going to confront Louis, when he probably wanted nothing to do with me? I shrugged it off, and quickly ran out the door to follow him. 

Grabbing Liam's car keys on the table on the way, i ignored the shout coming from the kitchen. I climbed into the car and drove in the direction that Louis had headed. 

After about twenty minutes, Louis had pulled over in front of a small house with one car in the driveway. He quickly got out and strode to the door, ringing the bell, to be taken inside by a brunette girl in the doorway. 

Eleanor.

I growled, and pressed my ears flat against my head. Louis was mine, and I wasn't going to let anyone have him. I narrowed my eyes as I got out of the car and walked to the door. I didn't ring the bell. I stared into the house through one of the small windows in the door, hoping to catch a glimpse as to where Louis would be.

With no avail, and the sudden sense of failure, I noticed a large window on the side of the house, overlooking a small, withered garden. I glanced around the street, hoping no one had noticed me, and quickly crept into the bushes. I was finally under the window, and I slowly began to stand up, just letting my eyes peek over the windowsill. My eyes widened when I saw Louis snogging Eleanor on the couch, which was getting heated quite rapidly. I jumped up, and banged against the window, but they hadn't noticed. I gritted my teeth and slammed by fist into the window, screaming "Louis!" as loud as i could, and quite angrily. I saw him freeze over Eleanor, as he looked up in a different direction. I couldn't see what he was looking at, but he suddenly pushed himself off of Eleanor, and pressed himself against the wall.

Two men had appeared in the living room, and Eleanor remained unflinching. I could hear some words being spoken, but it was muffled by the wall. I growled as the men, who still had not noticed me in the window, approach Louis. They had in their hands what looked like a bag, which they were slowly lifting in sync. My eyes widened, and i rushed to the door. Locked.

I backed up slowly, bunched up my muscles, and ran into the door, slamming it to the ground. The men turned quickly, and I could see Louis' shocked face.

"Run, Harry! I'll be fine, just go!" He shouted.

The men advanced towards me, until Eleanor spoke up. 

"Really? You had to break the door? You could have at least knocked first." She smiled wickedly. "Boys, gas them both, then tie 'em up so we can fill them up on the details." She left the room.

They smirked, or at least that creepy lopsided grin which I'm guessing was a smirk, and pulled out two canteans. They flicked the switch on them, dropped them, and quickly placed gas masks on. One grabbed my by my shoulders, and dragged me to the cloud of thick smoke. 

"Let go of me! Let me go!" I shouted. I took a deep breath of the gas, and i felt woozy. I saw the other carry Louis away, limp in his arms.

"Louis! Louis.. I-I'll.. Louis.." The gas was too much. Black dots completely covered my vision, and i felt myself slowly lose my consciousness.

Louis' POV

I woke with a jolt, to find myself wrapped to a wooden stool with thick rope. My mouth was ductaped shut, and i could see slumped figure next to me. I turned as much as i could to study it, when i found it was Harry, slowly blinking his eyes. He looked up at me, concern completely covering all other emotions.
