Chapter 3.

Y'all got three updates in one day.

"Have a nice day, class." The teacher said. "Make sure you do your math homework."

As the bell rung, Jacob and Imani waited until the hallways cleared. Jacob wanted to avoid Chresanto for lunch. Imani began to tap her fingers on the desk and smile at Jacob. She started blushing and looking down. Jacob looked at her and chuckled.

"What the hell are you blushing at?" Jacob said. "I have a boner. No! A boogie?"

"Don't look, but that new kid is looking at me....like how you look at Chresanto." She blushed. "He's new, I guess."

"Yeah." Jacob said, looking at him. "Well, he's cute."

Imani looked at him and cut her eyes. Jacob laughed and kissed her temple. She grinned and watched the new kid walk over to them. She looked down in her lap, getting nervous. Jacob looked at her and laughed at his best friend.

"Hi." The mystery boy smiled. "My name is Daniel."

"I'm Jacob." Jacob nodded, flushing a little. "What's up?"

"I'm new." He smiled. "As you can see."

Imani blushed a little more, keeping her head down. She played with the pocket on her khaki pants. Daniel chuckled and lifted her face up. She looked at him and smiled. He laughed a little and fixed the galaxy bag he had on his back.

"I'm gay." He openly said. "Don't catch feelings for me, Beautiful."

"Oh my God!" She snapped. "Why are all the sexy boys, gay!?"

Jacob and Daniel chuckled. Daniel looked at him and smiled some. He wanted a friend to say the least. Someone who relates to him, someone he could depend on and visa versa, etc. Daniel picked the perfect two people to do that.

"You're gay?"

"Sure am."

"For?"

Jacob chuckled some and Imani and Jacob looked at each other and Imani gave him a look. Daniel gave off a small confused look. Imani wanted his to be honest and open about his sexuality.

"He's the starting forward on the basketball team." Jacob smiled. "We've been best friends since middle school, but once we got to this school....he's been bullying me."

"So why do you like him?"

"He's extremely sweet under all that tough." Jacob said, truthfully. "I can't get over these feelings."

"Did he stop hanging out with you after you came out?" Daniel asked.

"Well, when I came out the closet, Chresanto started getting teased." Jacob said, getting sad. "So I guess his popularity was way more important to him then...me?"

"You seem perfect to me." Daniel smiled.

"Thank you." Jacob smiled back. "Well to lunch we go?"

"Sure." Imani said.

She cuffed both their arms and they l walked towards the cafeteria. When they walked inside, all eyes were on the fearless female that kneed the star of the school in his balls, the weird gay kid with an amazing smile and beautiful hair, and a good looking, light skinned male that no one has ever seen before. Chresanto cut his eyes at Jacob's blushing at what Daniel said. Chresanto's friend, Craig, was staring at Imani, getting angry at the attention she was receiving from the entire male student body.

Craig has always had a crush on Imani. She had no idea that her future husband was jealously glaring at the two gay males she was with. Just the thought of them being together made him mad.

"Go and talk to Imani. Get some information about that new kid." Chresanto said to Craig. "Please?"

"When are you coming out the closet?" Rayan snapped.

"When you do." Chresanto snapped faster, shutting him right up. "Now can you?"

"Sure." Craig chuckled. "Imani!?"

Imani looked over at him and waved. He blushing some and got up. They met half way. Craig kissed her hand and smiled.

"Hey." She laughed. "What's up?"

"Just thinkin' bout you." Craig smiled. "Who's that?"

"Daniel?" Imani smiled. "Oh he's new. We met him not too long ago, adding him to our fake clique."

"Oh, so him and Jacob date?" Craig asked. "Is he gay."

"Well, y-"

"FOOD FIGHT!"
