Chresanto ran through the built forest, panting hard as he bypassed the rest of the men. He went from being the weakest to the strongest. He reached the finish line and fell to the ground.

"Good, Cadet." Browne said in a monotone. "Um...."

"Wassup?" Chresanto chuckled. "Did I do something-"

"You sure you want to be in the army?" Lieutenant Browne asked. "You're gay and we d-"

"Whoa." Chresanto snapped. "What does my sexuality have to do with anything?"

"It has to do with everything." Lieutenant Browne said. "You're weak and being gay makes you weaker."

Chresanto stared at him in disbelief. Lieutenant Browne couldn't believe what he said. Chresanto saw that everyone who was training, heard that. Myles smirked and started laughing.

"Wait." Chresanto said. "I'm the youngest, right?"

"Yeah. The other guy quit." Lieutenant Brown said. "So."

"That means that I'm not only the youngest, but the strongest. If I'm correct, tell me." Chresanto falsely smiled. "Okay?"

"Okay."

"When I fought Myles, did I not still beat all the other trainers?" Chresanto asked. "Even though they didn't stop to watch?"

"Yes, Bu-"

"I've came in first in all races." Chresanto said in a serious tone. "I'm gay, but I'm faster than niggas that can't ever get pussy."

"Okay, but you're weak for that....boy." Lieutenant said. "What would happen if you died? Wouldn't he be hurt!?"

"Wouldn't a female be hurt too!?" Chresanto barked. "Me being gay has nothing to do with my performance stamina. I strive to win and that's what I'll do for this country."

"Chresan-"

"I'm weak because I'm in love with someone of my race!?" Chresanto yelled. "Huh!"

"It isn't right!" Lieutenant yelled. "How can you reproduce!?"

The men that were training waited for Chresanto's answer. Myles couldn't help, but feel bad for Chresanto. Myles wasn't gay, but he wasn't homophobic.

"What about the children up for adoption because male and female couples GAVE UP their child?" Chresanto said in a dark tone. "We could take them in and do what the straight people couldn't do."

Lieutenant noticed that Chresanto would be a valuable fighter in the war. He needed to put his personally beliefs aside and apologize. Chresanto was the strongest and he was only 17.

"I'm sorry." Lieutenant said. "I can't believe I even said that."

"Just don't." Chresanto said. "Just leave me alone unless it has something to do with commands. You ain't fucking up what I came here to do."

Meanwhile, Chresanto's mother was somewhere y'all didn't have any idea she would do.

She was signing up for the army.

While this was taking place, Craig was sitting with Imani in the bed, rubbing her small, tight belly. She wasn't showing yet, but he was excited to have a baby with someone he loves.

"What if it's a girl?" Imani asked. "What would be her name?"

"Shay." He smiled. "Shay Crippen."

"I like that." She smiled. "I'd name a boy King and a girl Tirana."

"That's pretty." Craig said. "I love you. You and her."

"How do you know it's a girl?" She laughed.

He admired his beautiful she looked pregnant. He smiled and ran his finger through her thickening hair.

"A father's intuition."
