Riley's POV
As I am getting ready, I am thinking.. What's James doing? I mean, has he got a girlfriend? Who am I kidding.. Of course he does and that's driving me crazy.
I look at my screen on the phone. A photo of James and I. We are smiling both looking so happy together. Where has that gone? I love him.
I shake away all my thoughts, when I hear horn. I look at the clock. 10:33. I'm late. I wear quickly my shoes and head outside.
"Hey guys". I say, smiling.
"Hey Riley". Emily and Hunter say in sing-song voice.
"Are you excited?" My sister asks, probably sarcastically.
"Excited about what?" I say, laughing a bit.
"There might be the old A-Troupe there."
And that's when I froze. I'm not ready for something like that. What if James shows up with a beautiful girl beside him?
What if something have happened to some of them? Yeah, I haven't talked to none of them for 2 good years. But that doesn't mean I love them any less.
"Riley. Are you okay?" Hunter says.
"What? Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Lie. "I just have a headache". Lie. Lie. Lie.
"Oh.. Okay." He replied. "Do you want to stop to a pharmacy for a depon or something?" Hunter can be so kind sometimes.
"No I'm fine, it's going to be okay." I say, fake smiling.
He nods in response.
After 5 minutes in silence, a huge building with a "The Next Step - Dance Studio" sign pops up. And I can see like 10 people in front of it.
As I get out from Hunters' car, I'm greeted with my family. Well, my "old" family. I'm NOT ready for this.
Giselle, Michelle, Eldon, West, Chloe, Cierra, Max, Noah, Amanda, Thalia, Stephanie, Miss Kate and.. James are looking at us, smiling. Oh my gosh.
I hug them one by one. And that's when I got to James. I hug him tightly. Surprisingly he hugs me back more tight a huge grin on his face. He loves me. Deep down he does. I just know it.
"Do you guys know who called us all?" Michelle asks. There's a huge wave of no's. Interesting.
"So guys, how's life going?" West asks after some minutes in awkward silence.
Some of them are looking down, including me. Has something happened? Of course, it has.
And that's when it hits me. A lot can change in 2 years.
So guys here's my 2nd chapter. What do you think about it? I decided not to put Daniel in this chapter. Get ready for drama😂 Anyways, vote and comment if you liked it.
