What You Do For Christmas (Devin)

Y/N POV

It was 12 AM, it was Christmas day and I was in your room not able to sleep. I groaned in frustration got up from my bed grabbed my phone and went downstairs. I went on snapchat, twitter, Facebook, and instagram just to look. As I was looking through snapchat stories my phone rang. It was so loud I probably woke up someone in the house. I jumped and answered quickly before anyone woke up.

Phone Conversation

Y: Whats up Dev
D: Hi Babe
Y: Dev its 12 AM what do you want
I say looking through the pantry finding Oreos
D: Nothing just to talk to you cause i can't sleep
Y: That makes 2 of us
I say signing and eating a cookie
D: Is it acting up again
He says sounding worried
Y: A little bit
He worries about me when my anxiety acts up really bad or even a little bit
D: Do you want me to come over
As he says that i can kinda here him getting dressed already as if he already knew the answer
Y: Sounds like you're going to anyways
D: You know me to well, see you in 10 minutes
Y: Ok Bye

End of Conversation

Devin lives 4 houses down so he shouldnt take long

Dev POV

I hate when Y/N gets anxiety. She isn't herself when she does. Its like someone is making her the opposite of her fun happy self. I love her either way.

I know when she can't sleep it's cause of her anxiety. I hate just leaving her alone when it starts. A little bit turns into a lot and then she will have a full on attack. Lets hope by the time I get there she is fine and doesn't have one.

"Mom im going to Y/N" I say.as she walks into her room

"Okay are you bringing her in the morning and don't forget to take the presents for her family" She asks popping her head out

"Yes and have them already" I say walking out

*6 MINUTES LATER*

Once I was at her house I opened the door with the key I had and found her in the kitchen eating Oreos. Thats my girlfriend for you. I love her a lot. She had her eyes closed and was using a technic to calm down. I put the presents for everyone under the tree. She didn't seem to notice I was there so I snuck up behind her, and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Merry Christmas Baby" I say kissing her cheek

"Merry Christmas" she says giggling

Y/N POV

After I got off the phone with Devin my anxiety acted up a little bit. I felt an attack was going to happen but then I remembered a technic to calm down whenever one felt like it was happening. I closed my eyes.and just waited till Dev got here.

After waiting I felt someone's arms around my waist and once i smelt the cologne i knew it was Devin.

"Merry Christmas Baby" he says kissing my cheek

"Merry Christmas" i say giggling and holding his hands while they were still around me

"Did it help you" He says sitting down and taking an oreo

"Just a little" I say laying my head on his shoulder

3 AM

We sat in silence for about 40 minutes until Devin spoke.

"Well it's almost time to wake up lets go to bed" He says dragging me up to my room

9 AM

I woke up looked at Devin and just left him there. I went to the bathroom to wash up a little bit. While I was in my bathroom that was connected to my room I heard at knock at my door. The person who knocked walked in. It was my mom telling me to go down.

"Hey sweetie we are waiting for you" Once she says that she notices Devin in my bed "Also good morning Devin" She smiles towards him and looks back at me

"Okay we are going" I say getting dressed and she leaves

Devin gets up to brush his teeth and wake up more. Once he was finished we headed downstairs hand in hand.

*AFTER PRESENT OPENING*

Once everyone was done opening presents they did whatever they needed to before they had to get ready to head out with Devin's family for dinner later.

"Okay babe we need to go to my house" Dev says heading out to his car

"Mom, Dad I'll be back soon" I say grabbing my coat and walking out the door grabbing the presents for the Gordon's

*GORDON HOME*

When we got into the door Devin jist looked at me funny

"What" i say half confused and half giggly

"Mistletoe" he says looking up and laughing

We kissed and he was much happier I just giggled

"We are here" Devin yells

"In the living room guys" Lexi yells back

"Hey guys" I say putting down the presents and hugging everyone

*AFTER*

Once we were done for the second time we were all just inside watching movies. I was on Devin's lap by the bay window looking towards the outside. We were just talking about random things and then I saw snow.

"Guys look its snowing" I say standing up

Everyone got up rushed to put their coats on to play outside. When we were outsode we saw the whole neighborhood playing in the snow. What a way to spend a perfect Christmas.
