"Why are you late again, Miss Thompson?"

"There... There was... Argh, fuck it. You aren't going to believe me anyway."

I had run from the train to the main building just to be on time. Turns out my watch is broken and I should have just looked at my phone like every normal human being. I was only 10 minutes to late, but for Mr. Clove even one minute was far too late.

I just let myself fall onto the next chair.

"Didn't you say you will be on time?"

"Derek, you asshole, you just scared the living shit out of me."

"I just wanted to talk to you. By the way, yes I have your notes.

He laughed at me, showing of his slightly crooked teeth. I looked him up and down, like I had done a lot lately. Derek was really good looking, his hair was black and his eyes a beautiful shade of green. His high cheekbones and defined jawline really stood out and every other girl would give their hand just to talk to him, but I just valued his friendship. People had called me weird for not falling for him, but I guess he's not my type.

Talking about my type, Luna fits it. I just wish I had gotten her phone number but I was in such a hurry.

Now I realized it, if Derek was a girl he would be my type. Luna has the same strong features, thick eyebrows, high cheekbones and defined jawline. She has blue eyes, not green like his, but they still really stood out.

"You look like you fell in love today." Derek suddenly said.

"What, no, I mean maybe. Why do you think that?"

"We're sitting here in psychology class and you know my favorite part is body language and analyzing."

"I hate it so much when you do that." I could feel myself getting red and I had my brows furrowed together in anger. It was so annoying when he does that because I feel like I'm on display.

"You know I only do that when I'm concerned, and I really am. Please don't say you fell in love with your ex again."

"My ex? No. I mean, I don't even know if I love that person I saw today. They just were really good looking."

"So you aren't going to tell me?" Derek asked.

"No."

"But, what if I ask you questions and just tell by your body language?"

I sighed. "Am I going to be your homework or what?"

"Well, you aren't going to tell me and I need to practice. Two things at once."

"Okay, but whatever you find out you aren't going to tell anyone. Pinky promise?"

"Pinky promise!" He laughed.

I turned around to face our professor again, who had written what seemed like an entire biography on the big old black board. After he finished the sentence I took a picture and continued writing down my notes.

Psychology wasn't the only class I had been taking, I'm actually multitasking. I want to be a teacher, English and history, but psychology was always really interesting to me so I picked it up too thinking it couldn't be too hard. But fuck, I was overwhelmed. Who the fuck tries to get 3 master's degrees at the same time?
