Don't come at me about James being stupid for facing Voldemort wandless. He knew he couldn't win against him, he knew he was going to die either way. He was not trying to be a hero he was trying to be a distraction so Lily could get away with Harry.
So don't tell me Snape loved her more because James died for her. He is the ultimate symbol of bravery and unconditional love.
