The next Monday, Chloe stood by her locker together with Maddie and Brynn, who were both staring at her, their eyes almost popping out of their heads, and their mouth almost dropped to the ground. Maddie and Brynn are the only ones who know about the whole fake-dating thing. "You just left him there?" Maddie asked, raising her voice, "that's such a bitchy move, Chloe Lukasiak, this is not how I raised you." Maddie said, throwing her arms in the air. "I panicked, okay? I didn't know what I was doing." Chloe hissed, slamming her locker shut and looking down in embarrassment. "B- but what about Ricky?" Brynn asked, staring at Chloe with pity. "I mean... He must be heart-broken." She said, and Chloe nodded her head slowly, going with her hand through her hair. "I don't know what to do, we aren't dating... It- it just happened, maybe it didn't mean anything to him?" Chloe asked, a deep sigh escaping her lips. 

"You should go talk to him" Maddie stated, crossing her arms, "I know that you are fake-dating and all, but this whole 'taking revenge on Josh thing' is getting out of hand" Maddie said, and by now she really is pissed. "Holding his hand?" Maddie asks, "no problem" she said, "acting like you're in love?" she spat, "why not!" she shrieked. "But fucking sleeping with him and then leaving him in the freaking middle of the night, and sending him a damn text is not fake-dating anymore, Chloe." Maddie said, clenching her fists. "Maddie..." Brynn whispered, taking her by her arm, but Maddie shrugged Brynn's hand off of her, and turned her attention back to Chloe. "This is fucking with Ricky's feelings. Literally." Maddie hissed, closing her locker as well, causing Chloe and Brynn to jump up a little. "Ricky and I have been friends for long enough now, and let me tell you one thing Chloe..." Maddie said, "He would never go on with all these things if it wasn't for you." The brunette said. Chloe had never seen Maddie so mad at her, especially not over a guy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

"You're so caught up in taking revenge on Josh that you only cared about yourself, Chloe..." she said, pointing her finger out at her, "okay, you helped Ricky as well. But you should not have slept with him, because you did it right after Josh told you he still loves you, and that's exactly what you wanted..." She said, taking her purse from the ground and putting it over her shoulder. "You know Josh was watching while you and Ricky were making out, and you knew that Josh saw you going inside the bedroom together with Ricky. You god damn knew it." She said, "so take a close look into the mirror Chloe, and ask yourself who that selfish bitch is who you're staring at. And make a choice between Josh or Ricky, or nobody for how far I care. But stop playing them both, they're no toys." The brunette hissed, and with that she turned on her heal, leaving the two blonde girls alone. Brynn took Chloe's hand and squeezed it softly, a melancholy look plastered on her face. "I'm sure she doesn't mean it like that, her heart is just too big and she can't handle to see two of her best friends broken like this..." Brynn, sweet as she is said. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Chloe took a deep breath and shook her head slowly.  "No..." Chloe whispered, looking down. "She's totally right..." She sighed, 

"I need to stop all of this, before it's all too late."
