The time came,

and the day dawned,

where war was upon us.

Young souls marched in lines,

Never being to live life

to the fullest.

Where hope died,

true love lied,

the war was truly upon us

Blood was everywhere, haunting us,

souls of friends, brothers and fathers,

had departed to a better place now.

They said hell is only after you die,

but looking around then,

that was surely a lie.

After all this time,

Would they remember the people they loved back home?

The ones they left not so long ago

But now, the war is done

and yes, we have won

for the price of so many lives be gone.

But they lay in their graves proud,

cause at the end of the day,

they knew they died in their country's name

We will stand tall and remember our soldiers,

the ones that died because of their love for our country

We should love our country as much as them, possibly, even more,

Forever and always,

For our unity.

-We will never forget
