WARNING- LAST CHAPTER

Mee Soyi

"I think we're too high up." I shout to Suga even though he was right next to me. "Don't you think this is too high? Are you sure this is safe?"

We climbed up the rocky ledge at the waterfall we visited last time. I had my hand tightly around Suga's the whole time, afraid that if I mess one step, I'll fall to my death.

"No, no." He assures. "We're fine."

"You've done this before?"

"Of course. I wouldn't even think of bringing you up here if it wasn't safe."

I nod. "Ok.....ok, th-then, I can do this."

"Yes, you can." He brings me forward slightly.

I get a glimpse of the water far beneath me and I close my eyes.

"Su-Suga, I don't think I want to do this." I stutter. "Is the water deep enough?"

"It will be alright, babe. Here, I'll go first so you won't be so scared." Suga brings me back and steps forward.

Right away without a single warning, he jumps from the ledge and into the air. I screamed and called out his name.

I carefully peek over the edge and see his small body quickly getting smaller and smaller, then disappearing under the water.

My heart pounds as I wait for him to resurface.

Finally, I see his head pop up and I sigh in relief.

"It's the best, Soyi!" He shouts from below. "Jump! Don't worry! I got you!"

I swallow my paranoid thoughts.

"I trust you, Suga!"

I take the leap of faith and fly through the air.

Adrenaline ran through my body as I saw the world move in such a fast pace.

I land with a loud splash and water was going up my nose.

I was panicking, but I forced myself to not be a chicken and just swim.

I resurfaced and met Suga's proud face.

"I told you it'll be the best." He laughs and swims closer to me.

We both race to the shore and dry ourselves off.

The day was getting darker by the hour, so we rushed back to our campsite.

"This is really happening. You're really doing this. You're really leaving." Suga bites his lip as he sees me opening my luggage. "Why do you have to pack anyways? Aren't you driving this thing home?"

"It's best to have it cleaned up before I get home. I'm just packing my clothes anyway."

"I just...can't believe you're leaving." His tone lowered.

"Suga, you were aware." I say with a deep sigh. "You knew I was leaving..."

I just couldn't stand to see Suga this sad.

"Why are you packing the ramen?!" He questions so loudly. "Yo-You should leave it out because you might want to eat it.....later!"

"Suga, I'm just cleaning up."

"At least let me drive with you." He takes my hands. "Please."

I give him a small smile. "Suga...that'd be awesome. But-"
