{ 21 } Punishment

Third Person POV:
Several guards came with keys and unlocked the jail cells one by one. There was a guard for each prisoner. After everyone was out of their cells they were to be guarded. Another set of guards came in to inspect the jail cells. Suki seemed very nervous of the guards inspecting her cell. The guards rustled through the sheets of the cot, and looked under the cot as well. The guard looked under Suki's cot. A little photo was hidden under one of the springs to the cot. The guard gave a malicious smile and took the photo that presumably belonged to Suki. "What is this?", The guard said, as he showed the photo to Suki. The photo had four girls, a mother and father. The Suki in the photo was holding hands with a little girl. A taller girl was hugging Suki. The tallest girl was in between the mother and father. Suki saw the photo and tears started to sting her eyes. "NO PHOTOS IN JAIL!", The guard shouted, he slapped Suki and tore the photo in half. Suki dropped to the ground in tears. She reached for the pieces of her photo, but the guard stomped on it. The other prisoners just stood in horror. "You just don't understand, do you prisoner?! Well I guess you'll have to be punished. Guards! Take her to Drafiki!", The guard announced. Suki's eyes filled with fear, she was dragged by the two guards out of the jail. A loud slam of a door was heard, and a deafening boom of thunder was heard. An ear splitting scream was heard, then silence. The mouths of the prisoners' dropped, they were all mortified at the guards lack of kindness and forgiveness. Julian's eyes flashed red and he twisted his body and punched the guard that held him captive. The guard that was holding Jasmine whistled, causing three guards to come into the room to fight Julian. Julian quickly battled the guards and ran out of the room.

Suki's POV:
The guards took me out of the jail room. I would've fought back, but I was emotionally crushed. I secretly had missed my family as soon as we entered this dimension. I had carried that photo everywhere, and now it's gone. The took me into this room with racks of swords and other weapons. The room also had a torture table. I started to quiver in fear, but they soon opened a door. I couldn't see what was beyond the door from my angle, but it sure didn't seem like a cute little puppy dog.

A weird animal came out of the door. The only thing it could resemble was a bull, but it almost looked human. Whatever it was, it didn't look friendly. The bull thing had two long, pointy horns that sent sparks buzzing around it once in a while. The guards hand cuffed my arms and legs together so I couldn't run away. The bull's horns produced a lightning bolt in between its horns. I quickly understood what was about to happen. The bull stomped its horns that imitated a loud thunder. It shot a lightning bolt at me. An horrible feeling struck all over my entire body, and then, I felt nothing. Absolutely nothing. I tried to move my legs, my arms, my tongue, anything! I realized I couldn't even blink.

Everything turned fuzzy from my lack of blinking. What dafuq?! Blink Suki! I yelled at myself. Wh-What if I'm dead!? No! I can't be...! I had my own internal battle between myself. I had so much to life for! All of my friends! They mean so much to me, I can't just die now!

I heard footsteps, and then a loud thump, as if someone had fallen on the floor. My eyes were now stinging, I still couldn't move! I heard more footsteps and a clash between swords. I'm in front of a battle?! I thought to myself. I began to imagine who could be fighting. Definitely a guard, but who else? Was it a rebel spy!? That would be cool! No, those don't exist. Finally, the clash of swords stopped. Someone fell to the floor. All of a sudden, I could feel my body again. I quickly blinked, but my eyes stung for a little bit. Suddenly, I felt something on top of me. After my eyes focused I saw a figure on top of me. It was Julian...
