The Mysterious Occurrences

Part 5 ~ The Unknown Room

Days have gone by and there's still no sign of Nick. Emma started to get worried and didn't want to leave the castle place just in case he comes back and gets her. If Nick does come back and find Emma missing then she would be harmed so either way she couldn't leave anyway.

Emma went looking through the castle to explore more, because she hasn't seen a lot of the rooms as she only followed Nick. She went to the top of the castle and worked her way from the top and went to the bottom checking every single room. Till she got to one. It was like a secret place that no one had been in. It was dusty and dark, Emma was intrigued in this room and closed the door behind her so that no one could see her in this room.

Emma sat in this room for hours after hours reading all these books. Emma was in the moment, she was half way through this book and she didn't realise that someone was standing watching her. Till there was a bang. Emma dropped the book and it landed closed on the floor, Emma stood up in a shock and gulped hoping that she wouldn't be in any trouble at all.

As Emma looked up she notices that it was Nick. Some part of her wanted to just run into his arms but she knew he wouldn't hug her. She stood there with her head down; looking towards the floor. Nick coughed and said to Emma.

"Come here. I need to speak to you." He said in a strong tone.

Emma didn't reply, she just walked to him and stood there to listen to Nick. He wrapped his arms around Emma making her feel more welcome and less frightened. She didn't want this moment to end because she was a bit afraid it wouldn't happen again. Then Nick looked into her eyes seeing that she was a little scared.

" It's ok, you wont loose me. Sorry I was gone for so long I had to do something and sort something out. You have fount my favourite place I see, I wondered if I should bring you here. Now I see you like reading." Nick says to Emma. It was like he was a different person.

" Ok, and yes I love to read, I was reading that one.. sorry if this is a place I shouldn't be..." Emma said slowly and quietly. Then looked down just in case his face had changed.

Nick lifted Emma's chin and looked into her eyes.

"Don't worry, its ok if you come in here. Take that book you was reading and go to your room. I have important stuff to do." Nick says to Emma.

Emma did as he asked and went to her room. About half an hour passed and she had finished reading the book. She wanted to go back to the room and get more books to read however she didn't want to disturb him. So Emma sat there and listened to the time tick by. The time was passing very slowly. Emma decided to start writing a story based on her life, she picked up a pen and paper and started to write down from the beginning.

I was just a little girl and I was in the living room standing on my daddy's toes, then my mum started to play the music and my daddy started to guide me dancing because I was on his feet. It was so funny as I nearly fell over a lot of times. I grew older and started going to school. I didn't see daddy much because he was always at work but that's alright he was always here when I needed him. Well that was till there was a fire, in our home...

The fire started just before I finished school and most of our home was burnt before I could do anything. When I saw my own home burning I just fell to the floor crying, it was upsetting because it was the only place I knew and ever lived. From then on I promised I would find out who had started the fire and I still haven't. The most frustrating moment ive ever experienced.                                                  

But now before I came here I was in the hospital and my mum was too. Now I cant even see her..

Oh how I miss her so much..

Emma dropped the pen on the paper and ink splattered everywhere and Emma began to cry. Every tear that dropped onto the paper made the ink run even more, she knew that Nick couldn't see her like this. So Emma wiped the tears and hide the emotion then she went down to the book room, had a wonder round the room to see if there was anything that shouted out to her. Unlikely but Emma kept looking.

There was a bright red book, as red as blood. The only book that stood out from the rest, so Emma took that book back to her room and she started to read it. Hours and hours reading this book. She fount out about Vampires, Werewolf's, Devils and demons. Emma was intrigued by what she was reading and then she started to find out why things were happening at home. The more she read this book the more she was finding out answers. All her questions were being answered, even ones she thought never would be answered. This book was her life, it Knew anything she didn't and anything she wanted to know.  Thoughts flew through her head, circling her and she could feel them being sucked into the book. Then and only then

 Emma started to wonder .

"I.....I....Is Nick.....a.....a ........ Vampire......." Emma thinks but she accidently says it out loud and the hope that Nick didn't hear her filled her and the room.

What will happen to Emma?

Will Nick use her for blood?

or

Will Nick kill her???
