The Mysterious Occurrences

Part 7 ~ Escaping

After a while of Nick being stood outside of Emma's room watching her cry her heart out, Nick nocks and walks in. He didn't say anything at first and just sat besides her. Then Emma moved away meaning she don't want to be near him, so Nick stood up and walked away.

" I will be back later my darling, and remember your mine now." Nick said to Emma and walked out of her room.

Emma sat there still crying her eyes out and she didn't have anything with her to remind her of her parents. She just wanted to go home and never return here. But how's Emma going to escape if she don't even know where she is. Then Emma remembers that she has the book that tells her all her answers to any questions.

Emma opened the book and her questions were being sucked into this book, and then it stopped like it was an ordinary book. Then there was a picture on the wall of her room and Emma fount out that she was only out of town from where she had lived before being taken.

Then it shown Emma they way out of the castle but all she needed now was an excuse of going out. Like she needs stuff or something that he wouldn't check up on her for. Or Emma could sneak out through a window and climb down the castle. Emma knew Nick would be coming to check on her soon and after that she knew then it would be the time to escape. And with that thought Nick was at her door unlocking it and Emma quickly laid down on her bed and hide the book, acting like she was still upset.

Nick enters the room and sits right next to Emma. Then Emma just sat there and made tears run down her face so that he thinks she is still upset.

"You're mine now so if you need anything from home you get it today and I have to be there." Nick says to Emma. Emma really didn't want him to be there.

"Cant I at least be alone with my parents for the last time before I have to stay here forever??" Emma asks Nick as more tears run down her face just to make him feel guilty.

Nick sighs and looks at Emma in the eye.

"Is that what you really want?" Nick asks Emma and she nods. Nick agrees to let her go home on her own and walks out of Emma's room. She new this was the time she could escape. 

Emma started to pack her bag and she packed the book too just in case she needed it. It was dark by the time Emma was ready to go home and she knew she had to be quick about it before Nick wouldn't allow her to go. Emma went pout of the castle and started to head towards the closest town. Her home town. Emma looked back and then got the book out to see if Nick was watching her and thank God he wasn't while she was looking at the book. Emma quickly hide the book as she knew he would be checking up on her soon.

Emma reaches home and walks inside. Everything was left of how it was when Emma was taken. Everything because a flashback hitting her harder than a rock could. Tears ran down her face and Emma didn't even notice, Emma went up to her room and got the necklace that her mum got her when she was a child.

Emma held it in her hand tight and she didn't want to leave but she knew she would have to if he was going to escape Nick forever.  Emma ran into her parents room well what was there room and grabbed a picture at there wedding, all three of them together, happy.  Then Emma took her dads best watch that Emma got him for his birthday when she was younger and she left the house.

She ran into the forest on her way to a new town hoping she wouldn't have to go back to the castle, hoping she doesn't have to see Nick again. At that moment her neck started to hurt her and she knew why as well. Emma covered her neck so that the bite marks weren't noticeable an she rested on a tree. A tree that covered most of the area. Emma rested her bag on the ground and Emma laid her head on her bag, looking up at the stars.

"Mum... Dad... If you're up there.. If you can hear me. I just wanted to let you know I am alright, that I miss you and that I love you both..." Emma says up at the sky then closes her eyes and sleeps.

Then night passes and Emma wakes up with a loud headache and she could now hear what everyone was thinking. How was this possible? Emma was thinking to herself . Emma stood up and everything went blurry, like her eyesight had just went. She knew that there would be some explanation for this but for now she had to keep moving.

The more Emma walked the she felt the feeling to fly, the feeling to get out of the sun. She felt like she was burning. Then when she was hungry all she though about was blood and now she knew that Nick had turned her into a vampire. This was the worst day of her life.

Emma fell to the floor in pain, and she didn't know what to do. She knew she had to escape but what could she do with this. Was Emma going to go back to the castle she had tried so hard to escape?  Or would she use the book to help her through this?

Emma moved towards another tree and sat up against it and got the book out of her bag. Emma wrote in the book and it brought up what she had to do, but what it was asking her to do. She knew she couldn't do it. Emma sat at the tree, the pain got worse and worse the more she left it.

She didn't want to go back to the castle but she had no choice so she stood up and headed back to the castle. It would take hours even days. It took three days to get back to the castle. Emma collapses at the castle and hit her head hard off of the door. Then she became dizzy and blacks out.
